That last story really makes me angry because it's people like Emily that make people not believe actual survivors. As someone who went through SA and was repeatedly told I was lying, I think it's so disgusting that Emily would not only ruin an innocent person's reputation but also contribute to the stigma that real survivors have to deal with.
I have been SA too. I also have a loved one that passed away after his life has been ruined by false accusation. The accusation was proven false because i was with him everytime the accuser said he was SA-ing her. He has social anxiety, so he barely went out and stay at home most of the time, he only went out if I'm with him.She got away with it and his life, career and rep got ruined. His poor dad had to take down his own son's body. I truly believe that people who falsely accused people like this are truly wicked and evil person. Idc if you're a teenager, idc whatever reason you have. You should've known better and you're an awful person.
Yeah it's brats like that that piss me off I was SA'd by my uncle and my dad told my I could ruin my uncle's life like that so I need to stop lying I don't understand why Emily would lie like that just cause she's mad about her mom getting married
There's an update to the last story: He divorced her, his ex kept pleading and begging for Op to forgive Emily and pretend none of this ever happened. She was getting agitated that Op was not considering to give Emily a second chance when he eventually snapped and told her how felt when he was falsely accuse of something that he didn't do. Not only that, was a victim of SA when he was younger and how it affected him growing up. After telling her that she suddenly changed her tune and said she'll deal with Emily after Op told her about his past. Which what difference does it make??? Anyways he's divorced thankfully.
Thank you for the update! I was hoping he'd leave the wife because I don't think I could stay with someone who demands that I forgive someone who just ruined my life. Hell no. She should have been punishing Emily for damaging their relationship and lying about something so serious. But nah...mom is the reason Emily is the way she is.
@@shannonhill5676 forgiving is one thing. Living with the toxic stepdaughter, pretending it never happened, is quite another. And the OP's wife? Where was she when his life was destroyed by this stepdaughter's lies? How could she NOT understand that the OP would not want to be anywhere near her awful daughter??
First story: husband doesn't love his wife for her, he loves her just because of her body. Imagine if she asked for the divorce before she lost the baby weight, I know he would've agreed without giving it a second thought. If he truly loved her, he would've agreed to couples counseling, and when he said "I'm afraid you and the therapist will team up against me" he knew the therapist would call him out on it, so him refusing counseling is him avoiding accountability for his actions Second story: I heard this story from someone on tiktok, the 18 year old knew better than to accuse someone of sexual assault, and she gets no consequences after that. I don't blame the dude if he left his wife, he has to protect himself. Another thing, it's women like that 18 year old that makes it hard for victims of sexual assault to come forward with their stories and receive justice.
Jokes on Emily. Now, she has to live with the fact that her mother may never forgive her for ruining her relationship. She may have just lost a mother.
My grandpa was accused of SA when my mom (June) was little by her friend (Mary). He didn't, Mary's mom was a crystal meth addict who told her to say that so Mary could be with her. It ruined my grandpa and his reputation. My mom told me that he used to be such a loving and affectionate dad, but after that he wouldn't so much as hug or lift her in the air. It took him 3 years to even start showing her affection again but wasn't the same it always restrained in a way.
The husband being willing to do anything to save his marriage except counseling reminds me of the Meatloaf song 🎶 I’d do anything for love, but I won’t do that 🎶
pregnancy is so difficult and it's so unsettling that ppl often step out more when someone is pregnant. also btw i'm a former competitive swimmer and swimming is an amazing full body workout that can be fun in many ways.
The last story pissed me off royally and made my blood boil. That’s the exact reason why actual SA survivors are afraid to come out and share their stories due to awful people like Emily who make false accusations. while I don’t blame the mom for taking her daughter’s side since if your daughter came to you with this you’d trust her and try to figure out what happened. but at the same time it’s messed up that Op’s life was ruined over a false accusation by a daughter who didn’t want them to marry their mom and I feel like Emily should be ashamed of herself but also face some consequences for those false accusations.
For The last story he should divorce the wife no question. Just for the gall of her asking him to forgive her. Just on that alone we know the wife won't have his back when he'll need it. This actually makes me really angry. Like Emily is 18 grown enough to know you should never lie something so heinous. Like that such a serious claim not even when proven innocent you still have that attached to you and your reputation. Especially with the way he got escorted out of his home in public. Honestly I'm not mad at the wife for being protective of her daughter as she should but her response after is wgat bothers me. The audacity of the wife to ask him to immediately forgive her daughter. From that line alone it makes you wonder whether daughter is getting punished at all. What she did was not okay.
While I agree a bit about how you can understand the wife standing on the side of her daughter but she should still have some idea of her husband’s character and whether it was capable of such actions. And also wouldn’t she have noticed something at home while it was all going on? Emily said it was an ongoing thing not a one-off after all. I completely see why he’s feeling betrayed by his wife because she didn’t even ask him for his side at all. You have to wonder how Emily became someone capable of ruining another person’s life and reputation because she was having a fit over not getting her own way. Selfish, entitled and truly merciless. I think he should leave them, that kid is too much trouble and her Mum obviously doesn’t trust him. What happens if they get pregnant? Emily might frikkin get jealous again! Nope nope, run away while you still can!
Often times, it's the people whose character you think you know who turn out to be the criminal. I don't blame the mom for trusting her daughter. I've seen such cases, and truly, it's always he could never do that! The mom would've been a true supporter and applauded, if Emily was actually telling the truth. Thus the person in this situation who is the ahole is Emily, not her mother nor her father. Edit: I also think that the father shouldn't be with the mother anymore, and instead press charges on Emily.
Even if the sa was false he still has to register as a sex offender because of this and his life is basically ruined because of this. If a minor accuses an adult of sa regardless if it was dropped that never gets off his record.
0:05: OP felt worse because her husband wouldn't love her when she wasn't at her best. He only wants to love her and show affection when her body meets his standards. OP was wise to seek a divorce. Hopefully their son grows up to be a better man than his dad, at least in that regard. 6:38: That Emily would make up a story about SA to prevent OP from marrying her mom says more about Emily than it does about OP. While I can't blame the mom for defending her daughter, Emily clearly didn't understand the ramifications of making false accusations about someone. She may have succeeded in breaking up OP and her mom, but the damage to her own reputation, among other things, has been done. Emily is not worthy of OP's trust and forgiveness, and hopefully OP considers appropriate legal action against Emily. Furthermore, people like Emily unfortunately illegitimizes actual SA victims who aren't able to get justice because no one believes their story.
Second story, leave her. It's not worth being in a relationship like that and who knows what Emily could say next and her mum defending her before asking him.
i hope the guy in the last story divorced his wife, because there's NO WAY you can forgive someone after they falsly accuse you of SAing them. also, i hope emily realizes what she did is beyond messed up and 100% unforgivable. shame on emily for having the nerve to do something like that!!
@@deadsetondreams1988 I'm 100% glad he divorced her, because there's literally no way someone can easily forgive someone for making a strong false accusation like that against them. yeah I hope she feels like crap for having the nerve to do something like that. smh

How did the mum not see that Emily was trying to drive a wedge between her and OP?? Don’t jump the gun ever about things that serious, she is being manipulated by Emily and it shows very clearly in that moment of accusation.
Story 1: The husband doesn't want to make up for his mistakes, he just wants to sweep everything under the rug and move on. All getting back together without counseling is going to do is teach him he can act like this without meaningful consequences. Story 2: F*** Emily. Props to the mom for standing by her kid when she seemed to be the victim, but the moment the lie was exposed she would have never been allowed in my house again. Even though OP dodged prison time, the accusation is going to follow him for who knows how long.
