It honestly feels the same as a fanfic author making some overpowered new adversary in their story. And having them overpower the old villains just to show how strong and cool they are.
@@trioduosoloTC I feel like they tried to say that the villains were stronger than the previous season in the most cryptic way possible that's the problem with agito in my opinion it's all cryptic like you have to find supplemental material to explain things I've read the novel which is basically a rewrite of the beginning of agito it does a lot things better
Like for example the reason agito attacks g3 at one point was because the og kuuga hunted agito as kuuga power is hinted to come from the main villain of agito the lord of darkness
@@Zarathustra_infinite I had honestly remembered hearing something like that before as well, but had no idea where it came from. I'll probably bring it up in the later parts of this video. Because you're right there is a lot of reasons that are kind of interesting behind a lot of Agito's plot. But the fact that they're in supplemental material, some of which came out years after the season. Makes it almost the same as if they hadn't existed. Especially for a review like mine where I'm mostly coming from a perspective without future material in mind.
Also Toshiki Inoue the master of writing miscommunication in tokusatsu like i get he wants to create drama but like if its like sentai sure and also anything with him involves would end up being very weird especially when it came to romance
My opinion on Agito and like Saber and Nigou in which is the 2nd installment for each era and by comparing them to the season before and after them they ended up being disappointing and just bad(not counting heisei phase 2 being separate becuz OOO is fairly decent)

Yeah the Kuuga elements are everywhere. But they never get addressed.

But Nigou is not 2nd installment, he is a character within the first series. The reason he existed because Ichigo actor was injured at that time.
