I believe personality does affect beauty. If someone is attractive but does or says horrible things I would not find them as attractive anymore. It can work both ways, for example I started finding this one guy more attractive because he’s very charming and has a great sense of humor. At first he wasn’t the usual type of guy I tend to go for but that started to change.

Idk if it’s something small and petty I might just think they’re having a bad day but if it keeps happening or if they’re being really rude then I find them ugly my biggest ick is when people either make racist, homophobic or r@pe jokes or even if they find it funny. People like that just gross me out no matter how attractive they are

Yes. It’s like if someone created a shit sandwich with expensive bread and put it on a beautiful plate. It might look fine from a distance but the closer you get, and the more you see, the more you can’t separate the two and wonder why anyone else can find it appetizing.

I've always believed that someone can be physically attractive, but if they have a bad attitude or speak poorly, it quickly makes them unattractive. Attractiveness isn’t just about looks; it's also about how you think, speak, act, carry yourself, your humility, your patience, the way you treats others.

Since learning about Blake Lively's controversy and seeing that interview, I can't find her as attractive as she once was. In the past, I always thought that she is an attractive person and had great fashion sense.. The way she had completely ignored the reporter and had an entire conversation with someone else in front of her was something that I experienced as an adult. It was embarrassing and hurtful experience. At least for me, she is not as a good looking as she once as her outside beauty is masking her horrible personality. I find this happens with regular people in my life, not just celebrities.

I so agree with the notion that, "hey, if you're rolling in dough and not at all relatable, don't put on airs." Look at Dolly Parton, she is swimming in financial freedom, and is by no means "relatable", however she is loved for her ability to maintain that human connection.

Dolly Parton in my opinion is very relatable, she is a humble woman who grew up poor in Tennessee, she literally modeled herself after the town "hoe" because she thought the woman was so beautiful and she wanted to be just as beautiful so despite everyone talking badly about the woman Dolly didn't care and instead looked up to her for being unapologetic gorgeous, Dolly quite literally is the og girl's girl, also hearing stories about her absurd amount of siblings and parents trying to live in a one bedroom house was quite a rollercoaster, and she has given back immensely to hers and other people's communities, plus she wrote I will always love you and then gave permission to Whitney to sing it which led to the iconic song we have today.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so if you disrupt that in any way it affects how you look at a person (idk if it makes sense). Idk if it’s completely related but yk when you have a crush/partner and try to show pics of your them to your friends but they find your crush/partner unattractive but you think otherwise? People also commonly struggle with empathy outside their circles of family and friends, meaning they may appear one way to an external party but be considered differently by their nearest and dearest.

Then how you'll explain JLo receiving 2 Golden Globe nominations and her being praised by critics for her acting in Mi Familia, Out Of Sight, The Cell, El Cantante or Hustlers (Oscar Academy sent her personal letter with apology for not giving her "Best Actress" nomination for "El Cantante" movie, cause they didn't see the movie before setting up the nominees writing that if they did they would nominate her)? Most of her movies are rom-coms, so obviously they weren't highly rated but reviewers almost always praised Jennifer's acting. Maybe Salma Hayek- the actress who originally got the role of Selena- played in the movie then she'd have been better, but we'll never find out. I’d like to add that Blake Lively had a website romanticizing the Antebellum South! She’d brag everyone thought she was from the South not California. After Gossip Girl this is what she was going to start her “Brand” with. Then, I forget what happened but one day it was just gone. Any trace it existed. So she would know what that plantation was. I can give Ryan a pass as he’s Canadian and we learn about the war of 1812 as far as American history. So he could have thought it looked like a beautiful house. I knew because I’d seen Gone With The Wind and my mom told me all about slavery, we watched Roots, the only black family in the city was our sitter for 2 years and we’re friends with their kids to this day. so we just had the privilege and curiosity to learn more about American history. I’ve always seen Ryan be kind and appreciative in regards to his work and always professional and respected. I just can’t see how he’d go through with that. But I’m glad they acknowledged how wrong it is.

What i find interesting is that JLO is so focused on being relatable, when her image is very far away from it, that it makes it seem forced. Which is uncomfortable to see. As for Blake, i was honestly quite unfamiliar with her interviews, so this was very eye-opening for me to watch! And to answer the question whether someone's personality can make them ugly: YES!!!! It really can! I've come across many people who look ''sweet'' or ''kind'' but are actually the most horrible people. Ugly personality = ugly. But it's also someone i'd consider 'disgusting', when their behavior is very off-putting too. Even when certain features can be deemed attractive or pretty, their overall appearance in combination with an awful personality makes them a 0/10 every day!

Hi! Great video! This is the first video of yours that I came across and I will definitely check out your other videos as well. I loved how you defended the question about what to say if a DV survivor approaches Blake in the street. Many people claimed that the question was inappropriate to ask of Blake. However, the actresses like Mariska Hargitay (who plays Olivia Benson in SVU) have spoken about survivors of DV, SA, etc will write or talk her about their personal experiences. It made her realize that these people often have still needed support for their trauma. I think she eventually created an organization that provided resources for survivors. Blake doesn't need to go that far, instead she have said while I might not be the best person for that discussion, here are some resources that would help like the No More organization that were actual advisors during the filming of the movie.
The crux of the problem of the was that Blake can't read the room (most times) as seen in her answer to that particular question, other interviews and how she reacted to Kjersti Flaa's congratulations. Yes, using the word "bump" was different and little clumsy, but it was clear from her tone and body language that she meant it in a congratulatory way. If anyway, the reporter seemed little nervous and wanted to break the ice. Watching Blake's previous interviews, there were similar behaviors (not the same degree), but because she is a conventionally attractive woman, she was not called out on it. Like you said, eventually the rotten personality becomes more obvious to ignore.

Ryan Reynolds has a good voice but his face is bellow average and he looks like he doesn't have much jawline. Personally i dont like men with long faces and tiny mouths

I tried playing a list of JLo's songs almost two decades ago and realized she doesn't sound at all the same between songs. And it surprised me that I never realized it before.

"So, if someone who understands the themes of this movie, comes across you in public, and they want to really talk to you. Whats the best way for them to be able talk to you about this, how would you recommend for them to go about it"? We can all agree that her answer was in very poor taste, but Im asking for a friend. How would you answer this question in a kind and thoughtful way? 29:08

I would say do your own research is the safest way to gain knowledge. And say something along the way about having respect for SA victims. Periodt nothing more.. the longer you talk about it the less genuine it feels and the more you expose yourself and the fans probably don't look for answers more like a way to connect with their fav ppl. Everyone just want to be seen. And also intentionally make things akward to avoid talking further if you don't want ppl to come up and talk to you

@Epokiceblue4 I really like your answer, thank you. Im really shy, so I wouldn't have known how to frame an answer in the moment. Everything about it felt improvised and too relaxed. There was no respect towards SA victims in her address, and it felt self-serving, too.

But I hope I could communicate the incredible strength of each and every survivor, and the importance of promoting more awareness of an issue that affects so so many people”

Most people will tell you that inner beauty never really changes. Whereas outer beauty gives a person too many reasons to treat others poorly, forgetting that all outer beauty fades eventually. Then what do you have? A bad reputation of being nasty, that's all.

I am blessed to have a partner who's outer beauty initially attracted me & who's beautiful soul continues to deepen that attraction 6 years later.
My POV is that ugliness inside doesn't erase outer beauty, it just makes me stop paying attention to it.
A great cover may influence book selection, but if the writing inside is awful, I'll stop reading.
