Saka Swamp & Bridge Project on Kaliro Pallisa Road- UNRA In-house Supervision- Sept 2023 Progress

The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) is constructing a new bridge over the Saaka Swamp on the Kaliro-Pallisa Road.
The bridge is expected to be completed in January 2025 and will replace the heavily dilapidated crossing.
The new bridge is expected to boost agricultural trade and investment, improve access to markets, healthcare, and education, and reduce the number of accidents.
The bridge is being constructed by Arab Contractors Uganda Ltd. UNRA's In House Supervision Team is overseeing the project.
This is the current progress as of September 2023. More videos will be posted to show the progress achieved after.
