OMG! Chazz Palminteri AND Martin Kove!? This is hype! Which line do you love better everyone? "Now yous can't leave" or "No mercy"?
I probably say “now ya’s can’t leave” more because I naturally talk that way(not threatening lives😂 I just mean northeast vernacular and I say ya’s 50 times a day) but I think “No mercy” is a little more iconic
Best crossover ever. Two Humble Icons. Much love What a freaking Duo.
Chazz is the gift that keeps on giving! What an interview with Martin Kove!
This is great! Martin ("Sensei") Kove with Chazz-Thanks. 100% Sweep The Leg & No Mercy!
Mr Chazz should definitely be in a western movie, there could be so many characters he would fit. And reviving the westerns is such a great idea, there used to be so many good Spaghetti westerns. I still watch what Italians did with Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer and also many others. And of course Clint Eastwood and the older ones are legendary.
An Italian portraying a cowboy. That’s a hard thing to do. Obviously they are going to give him a cool name. like. “. Cheyenne. Bucci. “. What do I think ?
Chazz definitely needs to do a Bronx Tale 2. A sequel where C and Jane are married and the ghost of Sonny gives the couple some advice.
Chaaz and Martin, but I like that, I like that.
Love Marty, he looks great for his years
Man, Martin never ages
Much Love and Respect for these guys great actors
I remember watching these two as a kid in the '80's. Amazing to see them still here decades later. God bless 'em.
Omg I never realized you did an interview with Martin Kove!! ❤ Absolutely awesome! 🤙
Daniel Son walks into a dojo and Kreese says: no youse can’t leave
How the hell does someone forget who James Cagney is? Cagney was the Ultimate Tough Guy back in the very early days! 💯💯
The Kove’s sporting those pinky rings and Rolex’s !! Lol great show.
Chaz you need to get William Zabka and Ralph Macchio on your show! ❤🔥🔥
the nice part about a podcast is anyone can do them and they don't have to be everyday . so these guys can get these stories out in a real raw uncut way .
Great interview. Mature and intelligent
Love this episode 🙏🏻 thank you! 🙂↔️
I've been teaching my 3 year old son to sweep the leg for years lol
Epic episode!
Wait, this show has Sonny from Bronx Tale and Kreese from Karate Kid? Thats my childhood lol.
I could listen to these guys all day
"What should I do?".........."Sweep the leg" - me for the past 40 yrs every chance I get
Havent watched in a while! Glad i came back!
Sensei Kove is fantastic!
love this!
Legendary Mr Palminteri, God bless you sir.
Big fan of Chazz and Martin Kove.
Cobra kai! Amazing show
Man, such a solid guest. Your shows fly by so fast, I can’t stand it!
before Martin Kove, both Chuck Norris and Clint Eastwood were considered for Kreese. Chuck Norris said he didn't want to play a sinister kung fu instructor, saying that it gave the sport a bad name, while Clint Eastwood said he wasn't interested in playing Kreese, but that he would direct the film on the condition that his son Kyle was given the lead role. But the film makers eventually decided on Ralph Macchio. It's odd Norris saying that, being that he had no problems playing a villain karate instructor in Way of The Dragon. Did he think that he'd only be repeating the same role?
That was very entertaining Chazz. Thank you for that.
Martin Kove usually played tough guys. He once did an episode of Murder She Wrote where he played a doctor which was a rarity for him.
This was awesome !! Amazing conversation so entertaining
Another great guest. Great show Chazz.
This is a really great one this one and the interview with Bill Burr More people should be watching a show for sure. I'm subscribing now
Thank you appreciated a lot. From India 🇮🇳
If you want to win the battle then lose the war , sweep the leg . If you want to win the war , take and hold the high ground .
Nice interview ❣️
The 1st PREDATOR movie with ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER. The 1st Alien, and 2nd Aliens movies with Sigourney Weaver IS STILL the BEST. For me.
Chazz great episode great guest !!! Always thought you could, and should write another “Bronx tale” not a sequel it’s called just another Bronx tale story …… it would have to be a totally different unique story, but I know you can write it!
Very cool interview Chazz. Martin Kove is a great well rounded actor. Great guy meet threw my pal actor Sean Kanan (Karate Kid 3, Cobra Kai)
Another great episode!
It's odd he mentions Steve McQueen being that Steve's son Chad has a small part in Karate Kid playing a villainous character (Chad has told interviewers that he's now retired (when he was asked if he'd ever appear on Cobra Kai)
Love this ❤️❤️
I'm your fan from Argentina we love you, send me greetings 🙌🏻
Great stuff! Subscribed
Awesome interview. Hope Chaz can get Ralph macchio next!
I couldn't believe it what a guy wondered where you were
You're right you're known by many & some would class you as a legend, I thought Karate Kid was great the role as the instructor was brilliant for the film.
Definitely my lucky day.
You're like a US Marine or like an American jock true tough guy.
Stallone is someone I grew up on I watched Rocky 2 when I was a kid about twenty times I watched Rocky IV at the pictures (cinema) I was about 10 the training & the fight with drago will never be forgotten.
Yeah it doesn’t get much better than Shue in KK part 1
💯💯💯
Very interesting and inspirational, mature and intelligent- i want to be something ive never been and do something ive never done, want to write ✍️ and make money 💰 but not for the money for the inspiration to make a difference in others lives. Have some very cool ideas 💡 for a sequal to Bronx Tale- and after listening to this. My first apartment i paid for I lived @17 in Gravesend Sharing a house with a Horse 🐎 Gambler and working @ Joes clam Bar and Randazzos - Balleys Jack La Lanes life time gold memberships because i always vibed better with mature and wise people- appreciateyou Uncle Chazz! 😮
💯💯💯💯💯
Chazz love this podcast. why don't you get Steve Vai, Billy Joel and Joe Satriani on the podcast too
when you stop thinking and let God take over is when you are able to create the most amazing things . the real meaning of tithing is to give up the left side of the brain the ego the 10 percent of the brain that relies on facts figures and logic. you know when you can't remember a name and your trying to think ok the name and you just can't remember it and when you stop thinking about it the name just comes to you . this is how God it works . next time you have a problem with writing or any problem get all the information together think about what you want the end result to be and then move on do something else .then sometime later when your doing something else the answers will just come to you . this is how the greatest songs are written in 30 minutes because the writer stopped thinking and let the right-side the creative side take over.
You don’t walk into my dojo lay down a challenge and then walk out, you get your boy on the mat or me and you are gonna have a serious problem old man
Sad the strike stopped cobra Kai s6 from filming. They should've Bern done by now.needs to end soon the strike
Want a milkshake?
write on
❤
I'm a former special ed kid always wanted to meet you 2 but I'll be to scared to
I remember this journalist, which she CLEARLY wasn't, that I used to work with from time to time. She had to interview Martin Kove - I was her photographer. She had no idea who he was. Didn't bother to look him up or anything. She was terrible. Everyone knew it. He goes on to give her a lecture about how you should look up an interviewee's background before you interview them. Then, he invited her to his hotel room. I couldn't help but laugh. Sounds wrong but after working with such trash you'd understand.
👏👏👏💪
They dont make men like this anymore.
They don't make villains like this anymore.
The stoic villain who only speaks when he wants an act of destruction.
Andrew Tate would be a great guest !
7:03 Martin's idea of a 'older cowboy and a 12 yr old, both with different values' is similar to True Grit/ rooster C too had 'two different value systems' put on a screen.
both John wayne movies john wayen worked with kids more often than most folks remember // nice catch of an interview
34:50// myop the show could Place Card the titles of the guest's up coming shows post op just a suggestion perhaps a C V too, put on a inserted Place Card thanks for another wonderful deep dive into the 'icons and legends' they be so humble
14:04// steve mcqueen (the actor that passed away, not the director) just did not know how to make a Racing Movie. and he meant well, and wanted them that got hurt during the production to be paid extra, but the film did not gross enough. and steve was mad about james Garner's racing movie doing (well) better //
Passion for a sport does not guarantee the ability to Tell a story of that sport RIP Steve 'the towering inferno' real stunts done with real fire, real water, all without CGI
How the hell does someone forget who James Cagney is? Cagney was the Ultimate Tough Guy back in the very early days! 💯💯
