Vidbir isn’t just about selecting the Eurovision song, but also about giving young talent an opportunity to show what they’re about to the viewers, which is why a lot of the songs sound so alternative/indie - because they are. Quite a few of the songs here were not written specifically for Eurovision but taken from artists’ albums/EPs. It’s not Melfest where most songs are written by the same people and have minimum variety in them. My vote here goes to Maruv - I think Eurovision could use some good house beats.

ok lets discuss i love kazka so so so much ! but let be clear maruv is eurovision material ! kazka will finish in the middle of 15-20 th place and maruv will finish in top5 for sure ! its just my opinion and i am a big fan of kazka !

no she will not because of the perfomance but even if she does tele votes will bring her the winning votes and woth kazka there can not be good performance with thad song and jury will give zero points to kazka,for example benjamin from sweden has very bad voice and not strong song but he was second with jury votes because of perfomance and staging !

Maruv was my favorite artist outside the Eurovision sphere last yr because of her collab with Boosin in "Drunk Groove". Kazka's "Plakala" was also one of my fav tracks in 2018. Having both acts as potential winners of a ESC national final is literally a dream to me.

Okay, i like maruv's song (it's my 4th) but i really don't understand what do you find so special in her
I mean for the most parts of the song she is just walking around the stage and she sings like 20 seconds in total
And what does even mean "kazka is not eurovision material", i mean is there any specific type of song that must be on eurovision? I prefer having different sounds even if that means risking to not go to the final
If Maruv wins she would be in my top 20 i guess or somewhere near it (which isn't bad at all), but my 12 points will go to kazka🇺🇦
