Orthodox is spiritual due to God spirit present. As a child growing up in my Orthodox church l loved all the icons, the choir service its love towards God, when l became an Altarboy my love towards God was unquenchable that made me even serve in the altar when got old to teach the young ones too. God is so beautiful if you truly let yourself be in God control cause your spirit isn't like any others cause if you ask a priest, nun, monk or any others they will tell you they also let God and Jesus steer them towards heaven. If you don't believe me try it, you might find peace too.

Papal infallibility not being a thing in the Orthodox Church means every doctrine that is developed in your church is prone to error (and most likely developed in error) because you guys don’t believe the Holy Spirit leading the clergy in charge of making these important doctrine can prevent error which technically is blasphemous.

I love my "orthodox" brothers and sisters in Christ. I love the church as a whole. I also love my "Catholic" brothers and sisters in Christ. I love my "Protestant" brothers and sisters in Christ. I have had a revelation from God in recent months that tells me the Church (all Christians) need to come together as one under the one true God that revealed himself in the flesh and died on the cross for the sins of the world, raised to life on the 3rd day and conquered death once and for all. Whoever that believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life.
I understand there are ritualistic differences throughout different denominations but I believe coming together would make our lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth smile upon us and glorify his holy name.

To subscribe to some ecumenist idea like branch theory (or something like it) is to deny the obviously apparent differences between Catholic and Orthodox ecclesiology. Both institutions are EXCLUSIVIST to each other, despite modernizing efforts.
As an orthodox Christian, I must say to you, both churches CANNOT be true at the same time due to theology, especially ecclesiology.

It is the wish of Jesus Himself that we come together, asserting tribal pride and arrogance only hinders that goal. God bless.
edit: I want to say something. on my journey I prayed for a church and Christ showed me the RCC and it was only confirmed to be the right decision for me since then on multiple occasions, but I don't deny the possibility that the Holy Spirit led all you Orthodox Christians to your churches. I trust His judgment and will so we should not attempt influence or manipulate him on his journey but he should pray and trust in God to guide him. I have wondered if the schism was part of His plan for some reason, who are we to guess why? we can only wait and see what comes of it. but I'm tired of seeing the lies, vitriol and hate towards Catholics from blatant misunderstandings, it is not Christ like. The continual singling out of Peter in scripture; with the angel at the tomb, Jesus’s undoing of his three denials and Christ commissioning him, Paul’s referencing his authority, etc…
Also, the historical fact of the church going to the leading bishop on authority when the apostle John was still alive.
My point, is that there is a strong biblical argument.
It’s also congruent with the old covenant and a high priest; ie, Moses.
Jesus references the “seat of Moses” as an authority.
The pope is the vicar. He himself can personally error but the Holy Spirit protect the position when it comes to faith and morals.
      Example:

I completely agree. You never know what you’re going to get walking into a typical Latin parish especially. It may be everything from the Tridentine Mass to a ‘high’ Novus Ordo with Gregorian chant and Latin, to a folk guitar Mass, Life Teen with a ‘praise band’, clown Mass, etc. It’s really become not much different than Anglicanism in this sense, an eclectic mix of rites that pleases everyone, while all claiming that it’s a ‘unified’ church under the pope.

Catholicism has a little bit of everything because it is universal. Eastern Orthodoxy is a pale shadow by comparison, having only the Byzantine rite within her communion. And Orthodoxy cannot be the true faith by your own proposed litmus test as Orthodoxy has never been of one mind on much of anything. They have no central principal to rally around. Papal Supremacy, the most dividing issue separating the two communions, came about as a development in the Roman Church (among other dogmas) mainly in the 11-12th centuries as a result of the Gregorian Reform. Pope Gregory VII and his successors radically transformed the Papacy in the West. The Pope had his own army and could depose kings and excommunicate entire kingdoms. Yet, the Latins claim that the Orthodox Church has an issue with Caesaropapism?! The Roman Church has changed so many teachings and practices it would take me forever to list them all. God prohibits "graven" images, not images themselves. God even commands the creation of images/statuary with the ark of the covenant and with the building of the great temple. Don't fall for the weak protestant arguments. Just like they argue against the Hail Mary and whine about vain repetition. The keyword is VAIN, not repetition. Jesus Himself commanded us to pray the Our Father. To use the protestant logic we can only pray it once in our entire lives. Once we pray it a second time we have repeated a prayer and have become vain. And if they call that argument absurd then they must prove how many times a prayer can be repeated until it becomes vain. 2? 3? 7? They can't answer that because their arguments are foolish, ahistorical, and self refuting.
