The problem though is the diehard Gilmour fan boys that think the exact opposite and are only interested in the precise David version. They will discredit every single cover over some small knit picky bullshit because it’s not exactly like the original. Like wtf do u expect!? It’s a cover…and yes they are out there everywhere I see it way too often and it’s annoying af. Music is up to interpretation at the end of the day anyway and taste is completely subjective there is no one right answer!!

Some people really expect every cover to try to imitate the exact tone of the original. I think this is a fantastic rendition of the solo on a Les Paul adding a little of your own style. Awesome work.

We definitely need more expressive musicians like you. I'd like to add on the above topic that even David himself never played this solo exactly the same twice EVER. I must have watched dozens of his live performances of this over the years here on RUclips because I loved how he improvised. That was also why him and Roger Waters, who was a control freak, had a falling out. David just wanted to get loose and play how he felt.

Para versiones fieles al original no hay como que mejor que escuchen el original y respeten cuando alguien decide hacer alguna variación en la interpretación... a mi me gustan las interpretaciones personalizadas. Eu só fiquei um pouco chateado com o atraso que vc colocou na parte que eu mais gosto 0:50. Eu sei que a performance vai muito ddo que se sente no momento, mas estes atrasos tanto nos solos quanto aqueles cantores que cantam atrasados, matam a música.
Apesar disto, posso afirmar que a sua performance é a melhor do youtube e nunca vi um guitarrista tocar com este feeling todo nos palquinhos da vida! Parabéns amigo!
