The Hollyland Mars 4K Wireless Transmitter and Receiver are a fantastic option for bringing wireless video into your livestreams. They're also great for any video production that might need to transmit a signal from the camera to a production monitor. Did you know they can also transmit to more than one place?

We have these and they work pretty well. The only challenge we've had is in a very crowed environment where there's lots of other radio traffic, like in a sports hall with lots of people on cellphones. You get the occasional drop out in these scenarios, but it's not too bad. Same thing happens with the normal 400's and the C1s
I'd expect that to happen in busier locations. There's definitely a time and place and this product fits the lower end of the market.
Just wondering what the frame rate of the video you downloaded was? I assume its 30fps as you said its from RUclips. Also note the ATEM extreme has frame buffers on its inputs which would add delay from the hollyland so its in time with the next frame direct from the Computer as that was in input 1.
Great test
Is the delay consistent when you use different frame rates or resolutions?
Going to try to do a full check with 4K and 1080P but don't have any 4K switchers at the moment and trying to figure out how to output a 4K signal of the test video and split it between the transmitter and either a monitor or recorder.
Hi Zephan! Great video as usual. I do have a request. Would it be possible to do a similar video using a let’s say a mirrorless camera recording 4K, using the tx/rx and decimator to a proper blackmagic device capable of outputting 4K. I feel like you told us half of the story, and you could expand a little bit more. I use the mini extreme and know it only outputs 1080p. Thanks in advance!!
Great question. I do not have a 4K switcher as I've never needed one and still don't ever deliver client content in 4K. Most platforms also don't support 4K streaming so it simply hasn't been a necessity yet. I'm imagining that most people using this for 4K wireless transmission are going to be using it in field production and transmitting a signal from a camera to a directors monitor. For a full 4K test I could certainly provide a 4K camera but will need to determine how to best record both signals simultaneously and determine the difference in timing.
@@zephanmoses That makes sense. Thanks for sharing and keep the videos coming! 💪
@@zephanmoses We have used these transmitters/receivers for our high-school sports work for Fox and Bally Sports and KDOC. As you said, we're not streaming in 4K and as a result, they work just fine. And for the field camera, it sure beats having to mess with a cable (and cable wrangler)!
Wonderful, It really helped. Thanks so much!
Can I use this to transmit video from Dji mini 4 with a USB-c Cable?
These transmitters take HDMI or SDI in, not USB-C.
how about HDMI to USB-c cable? @@zephanmoses
@@yonetk1 what is it you’re trying to do? These transmit a wireless video signal. The input has to be hdmi or sdi. If you can feed it one of those then you can send the signal.
Trying to connect my mini4 drone to Hollyland and stream live. I'll try tomorrow and let you know about the result. @@zephanmoses
in order to live stream with any drone, you need to buy rc pro controller. it has clean hdmi out. all you need is to connect your wireless hollyland to controller. thats it. @@zephanmoses
👏👏👏👏
Zephan video with the Hyper deck extreme 4k hdr how many cameras can i record in to HyperDeck.
blackmagic released the atem television studio 4k8 with no iso option.
Hyperdecks only record one camera at a time.
@@zephanmoses ok thanks
