I'm sure a lot of other dog breeds would do the same beagles are kinda dumb but loud I don't think you were very old but dam that proves bullies really are cowards if they were scared of a pitbull I would understand but my beagle is a coward she get scared leaving the yard your beagle is not only smart but brave you got a nice dog
I can attest to how wonderful having a Labrador retriever is, been around them all my life. Not once have my family ever have anything but love and affection from these dogs, wonderful companions.
We used to have a German Shepherd named Hannah, and she was, and still is, the best and most loyal friend I’ve ever had. My mom told me that the first thing that she did when we got home from the hospital after having me, was she licked me upside my face. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2016. I have a stuffed animal named after her that looks like her. I still cry when I think about her. I’m sure she is in animal heaven with the rest of our deceased pets.
You forgot the Staffie! They are awesome with kids. A lady I did singing when i was younger with had a staffie who would get really excited when any kid came in to the room and would try to lick your face and roll on her back with the biggest doggy grin in the world, asking for bellie rubs. RIP Flo💕
My staffie muttley is great with my grandkids. Every staffie I've ever had has been great with kids but not other dogs. Muttley just wants to play with other animals. He's very bouncy when people come round but most people love him

Golden Retriever's are the best pups ever. My Charisma is 10 years old and she still has some puppy in her, especially when we take our walks on the beach. Hasn't met a stranger, kid or other dogs that she didn't like. Perfect companion.

@@Sunset013 that's interesting considering most Cavs I've come across want to lick you and anyone else in proximity. Plus they'll get anxious if a human isn't around and they appear to prefer people than other dogs. Everyone has different experiences with dogs, however mine is that Cavs have been generally less aggressive to other people than many other small/toy dogs I've come across. They just want to be with/next to someone, to the point of nearly always getting in the way!

You should never fully trust any dog as they all have the potential to bite, however in my experiences Cavs in general/on average have been less aggressive than most.
Golden Retrievers are great dogs for active people who enjoy the outdoors. Also known as extroverts. If you stay inside most of the time and only step outside to see sunlight once a month. Then...not your best choice.

Let me drop some information For one there is no such thing as a “Friendly dog breed” it’s about how the dog owner raises and teaches a dog for an example a pit bull a lot of people think they are “ born aggressive “ but no back the. Pit bulls were nanny dogs they would protect kids and care for them. yes, they do have stronger jaws and what not, but they were not born to fight they are just commonly used for dog fighting because of their strong jaw. Always Postive77 that's that golden retriever individually, and I doubt you know much about dogs, before I got my first dog ever I did a lot of research about the dog breed, how to train him, and how to treat him right, here I am now successful in each of those
I'd recommend the husky or wolf dog but I'm just gonna warn you a wolf dog could take a dogs personality or a wolf's personality and they are not the best with children but huskys are very energetic and will keep you busy but a retriever is aswell.
I have a miniature pinscher and she is super friendly, she has never ever bit anyone and she never growls, my friends were scared of her at first but when they found out all’s she does is play and lick people they love her! I also can take her on walks and she would never run off, she waits for me when we are near a road because I pick her up when we cross a road, we used to have another miniature pinscher but he unfortunately died 26th October 2018, he had diabetes.
They can be very noisy at times and wake up the kids in my case siblings. I had one last year and got rid of it because I could not sleep it was trained really well but would not shut up

My pug was good with children at first. They could change thier mind. Since he's not a playful type, moving or wanted to stay away from children as he get older, he's very aggressive to children. My pug has bit more than 2 children. So it is important to not let them close to children when they're couch potato like me and wanted to stay away.

I have baby siblings who like to annoy my pug a lot even when hes sleeping, and even hugs him roughly. sometimes they even put him to sleep. pugs are very patient and affectionate pets, so somethings wrong with your training.

I have baby siblings who like to annoy my pug a lot even when hes sleeping, and even hugs him roughly. sometimes they even put him to sleep. pugs are very patient and affectionate pets, so somethings wrong with your training.

A friend has a Great Pyrenees. He loves kids, and is very gentle with them. Newfoundlands are great with kids too.

Jamyl Hurtado sure! Both collies and shelties are herding dogs most people refer the sheltie as a “mini collie” which is not the case , the personality of the sheltie is completely different from the collie

He got the choices from research, and you prob only said that bc u have those dogs or they are your favorite, not based from research. Pitbulls are better with adults, because they maul children to death when your not looking.

Be prepared for a battle of wits. They are smart and easy to train but make sure the dog knows who the Alpha dog or else you'll be in a hell of lot of trouble
German shepherds are very fluffy,protective,and cuddly oh yeah if you breed a German shepherd with a doberman you will get a doberman shepherd the cutest dumbest little things

I have a shih tzu Bichon and he is amazing! He is 14 years old and still looks and acts like a puppy! When I was a baby he was still a puppy and he was so calm and patient! I totally recommend them!
