He's still alive now almost ten years later. He has been by my side through every major trial and never once faltered. He's a good, loyal boy.
I had a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd. They were big, hairy, handsome dogs, and were good dogs. My aunt and uncle used to have a Beagle. He was adorable and was their kid.
As a dog person I am proud to say that I grew up loving dogs because I’ve been a dog lover for a very long time I used to have a dog when I was younger but then my dad gave him away and my sister and my brother had one. My sister had hers for a long time until she passed away. My mom still has her dog and I’m going to see her soon and play with her but dogs are just the most awesome pets in the world. They love you they gave you unconditional love and they always know how to keep you entertained. If you get sad or lonely it’s good to have a dog around so your house doesn’t get all depressing most of the time. 😊
As a Husky Mum, they will always be no1 in my eyes. My boy is the best dog I've ever had and I've had a few breeds. Even though my late staffy was amazing ❤
I had a St. Bernard/Wolf mix for near 13 years and he will forever be my big clumsy boy, I miss him so much, and yes, he was massive. I also owned two short hair border collies and would definitely own more, such smart dogs with such interesting personalities, and yes, extremely energetic, water lovers.

I had a German Shepherd named Angel and a miniature poodle named Cookie as a kid. The miniature poodle was a handful but my German Shepherd was awesome. So well-trained and a good pup. My mom had her for 18 years. Loyal til the end. I miss her. She definitely was an angel. 😪

All the Dobies I have ever met were big goofballs. I had a very beloved Shitz Zu Ginger. She was a breeder rescue. She was the best behaved little girl. In the early 2000s, we adopted a terrier Maltese mix, and then a year later, a Yorkie boy who was a puppy mill rescue. My kids grew up with them. Snoopy didn't know he was a 6lb dog. On the negative side, English Bulldogs heads are so big their puppies have to be delivered via C-Section and pugs have breathing issues due to their flat face
I have 2 Corgis, I have had a lot of different types of dogs. I have also have had a Coyote and at another time a Wolf😢. They both were very sweet babies, as are the Corgis I now have. My oldest Corgi raised a cat that now thinks he is a Corgi, so I call him a Corgicat.
We got our mixed breed dog from dogs trust. She was one of the most loving dogs, so gentle. She died of cancer age 17 a few years ago. When somebody talks of wanting a dog, rescue dogs are the first thing I say.
Best dog I ever had was a mixed breed. He was a Pomeranian Fox Terrier mix who was rescued from the pound, and was the smartest dog I've ever owned. He once saved me from a bull mastiff by biting his ear off. Insanely loyal and friendly dog.
Chewy was an angel wrapped up in a sheltie jack Russell body and fur. Smart yet stubborn. Loving but jealous. Extremely loyal. Loved to run but also cuddle. He was gentle when he needed to be ( with little kids and the elderly) and the opposite with me. He was extremely social and understood the hierarchy.
I have a Maltese Yorkie named Dexter and he's a huge snuggle bumps. He loves to eat, play fetch and he loves people in general. He's also a ten-year-old rescue dog and we've had him for five months now. He's a sweetheart and he sleeps soundly through the night. He's also very smart. My Dad has a labradoodle named Bella and she's still a puppy who gets very excited whenever I go over to visit. When I was ten years old, I got my first dog whose name was Shannon and she was a golden retriever little river mix who was a loyal companion for me until her death in 2012. Now, I have Dexter and he gives me great joy every time I snuggle with him on the living room couch. He even puts his paw on my hand whenever he's lying on his back and sometimes, he lets me hold his paw while he's sitting on my lap. He also loves car rides now, even though he whimpers a little bit. My mom and I make him talk and he calls me his Sissy. Some of his favorite treats are Cheerios and blueberries and what ever scraps we can give him. He even gives me kisses with his little tongue while I give him hugs.
Pomeranian Papillon Jack Russel Dachshund French Bulldog American Bully Pitbull These dogs must be on the list. I didn't include Chihuahua and Chowchow even if they are really because admit it or not, MOST (but not all) of them are very moody.
I have had 2 wonderful dogs, a Husky mix and a poodle/bichon mix. Both were adopted from our local Humane Society shelter. My number one breed is an easy choice: the American Shelter dog! With so many dogs needing homes, make the choice to adopt, don't shop.
There’s a Samoyed dog in Undertale, known as the Annoying Dog or sometimes nicknamed Toby Fox, and this cute pooch actually has god like abilities, now that’s an OP puppy
I have a beagle! Awww wish you could’ve talked more about their temperament and lifestyle. They’re amazing scent hounds indeed, but there’s more to their sweet nature than that and overeating. They have tons of energy too and are the most tested on breed because of how gentle they are unfortunately. But love that they’re number 4 on the list!
Honorable mention: Pit bulls. My mom has a Chihuahua Jack Russell Terrier mix, a Chihuahua fox terrier mix and a Chow Golden Labrador mix, and a Dachshund. She used to have a Pitbull before all of those dogs though.
My Pancho, 2 years old, got him at 2 months old, I got him half off from a family friend; their dog got pregnant by the neighbor's dog and their grandma was sick in the hospital. He was the runt of the litter and scared of others. I went to pick him up, and he walked straight towards me with no commands from anyone and fell asleep on my lap. My mom that was raised as a"dogs stay outside" person instantly fell in love with him and the sun room became his room. He befriend the kids, delivery carriers, and neighbors because we got him in the summer and constantly trained him to listen. A running joke in my social circle is that he's not a Pitbull because he walks up to people with a smile with his paw up to shake hands without any command and he'll flip on his back for belly rubs. The sheriff, city and state police, firefighters, his vet, others at the dog park, and other Pit owners can't believe how friendly he is and that he loves fresh veggies, apples, and rabbit meat. Thanks to Pancho, everyone finally feels that our house finally feels like our home.
As someone who owns a beagle, I can confirm everything said about them in this video is 100% true. If you have a beagle or are planning to get one, do not leave your food unattended because they will eat anything no matter what it is! I’ve experienced this with my beagle and it was not the best…
I love every fur baby I ever had, have, and will have. My current fur baby is a pure bred Havanese and he’s an old grump of a clingy spoiled puppy dog. He’s the stereotypical old man telling kids to “get off his lawn”.
1. Great danes 2. Golden retrievers and black labradors and chocolate ones 3. Cane corso 4. Kangal 5. Dalmatians 6. Husky 7. Rottweilers 8. Beagles 9. French dog 10. Akita dog 11 p canario dog
I have a German Shepherd and my daughter has a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. While my GS is polite, and well-trained (she pretty much trained herself), our Corgi is a beast. Corgi's are very stubborn, thus tough to train. They are gluttonous pigs and will eat anything, even if it's not edible. She's already had 2 surgeries to remove things stuck in the back of her throat. They are really food aggressive. I will not let my grandson anywhere near when it's her feeding time. With the German Shepherd, my grandson can sit next to her bowl and eat the dog food with her if he wanted. Our Corgi tears things up even when she knows it's a no-no. That sweet little girl, Asherah, the Corgi, is black and white with brindle coloring on her cheeks & right behind her ears. She is adorable but tries my patience every day. I'm 58 and the only dogs I've ever had have been female German Shepherds. I feel the females are more protective than males. I would recommend getting a German Shepherd to anyone as long as you have a big yard and things for your dog to do. They're working dogs and they need the stimulation or they'll tear up your yard or your home.
I have two Beautiful Beagles now, but in the past we grew up with two German shepherds, one a retired police dog. We also had a Rottweiler too, unfortunately she was possessive of me and was rough with my 1 year old daughter. So I had to re home her. My grandma raised and breed Dobermans they were sweet and loving dogs!
I share this story with every Samoyed owner on how loyal they can be: We rescued a older puppy from a friend who was leaving her family and there were not the resources for keeping pets like there are now (in some places). He bonded with my elder grandmother who even in her youth was a bit of a troublemaker and liar (now called BP). He would follow her all over our house and sleep with her every night. As he grew up he would start to push her around in her wheelchair on her command towards her attached apartment. Okay, Baseline set. In her last few years she had to get some pretty extensive dental surgery that resembled inquisitorial torture. We brought her home and he met her at the mudroom entry like always. Smelled the blood and got right nose-to-nose like "who did this to you, my Queen? I shall end them". My grandmother was in one of her dramatic moods and on meds so told this poor dog "Oh, Boo-Boo, you need to stop worrying about me because I'll be dead by morning". That dog went into the bathroom (dog proofed, he slept in the tub to keep cool during warmer weather), got in his tub and willed himself into a cardiac arrest. Not kidding at all here. True to my Grandmother's nature she didn't die for another 3-4 years after that. I know when that dog saw her he didn't give two holy hoots and just danced on his back legs over. So, yes, they are good dogs but too smart and empathetic for their own good sometimes :)
I have a Westie and Pointer now. Great dogs!! My first dog was a Cocker Spaniel. I've had a Lab and a Miniature Sch sized in the past. Love all dogs though!!
We had a yellow Lab and then a Black Lab. Best dogs ever. my husband took them out every day. They were both raised as guide dog puppies. The Yellow Lab was chosen as a breeder. The Black Lab failed to make it as a guide dog. We don't expect to ever have such great dogs again.. Both of them did agility too. and the yellow Lab was so confident in everything.
I st ed adopting senior dogs when I was 21 and the first one was a German Sheperd/Rottie mix, her name was Sasha, then we adopted a Cairn Terrier, in hospice,She was 7 yrs old, named Angel, after Angel passed I adopted a lab/springer/border collie mix, named Maddy, I trained her as a phytanic assistance dog, She helped when I would have panic/anxiety attacks or an issue with my PTSD, when she died 8 years later we adopted a lab, named Jack, who we just had put down, named Jack, due to a brain tumor. Currently I have a lab mix puppy, One of Maddy's great, great granddaughters, who's 2, named Annie, and my dad just adopted a Chorky puppy, named Poppi.

No, Pitbulls are horrible dogsl, especially as family dogs.
Jack Russell is my fav. Beagle is my other fav. I can't argue with the top 3 as well.
Entertaining video! I look forward to the list of exceptional companion dogs which would list the greyhound in the top five.
As a dad of two Golden Retrievers, I am offended that they didn't get the No.1 spot.
My boyfriend has a german sheppard named Hope, and she is a sweetheart X3
I grew up with Rottweilers and German Shepherds and they are my favorites!
No mention of the Pomeranian?

great to see my top 3 breeds made the list
Pugs will forever be #1 in my heart! ❤️❤️❤️
Not having a Pitbull or Mastiff on the list is a crime. And pug at 20? Should be in the top 10.
I’m totally offended that the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is in spot 19. My little Britain will always be #1 to me 🥰
We loved both our Rottweilers very much!!
#14 that’s my second favourite dog breed
You said the pronunciation of Samoyed wrong, also good video
do have four dogs Missy Camlia, lunita.
American psychopaths with Sam Rockwell & Madylin Bailey...
Poodles and golden retrievers are cute! 🥰🐶🐩
I love the Shih-tzu. I had one named Buster.
Rough Collies are my favorite. They're great with family, especially children.
Rescue dogs are wonderful
All dogs are beautiful creatures.
Number one is all of them
I share this story with every Samoyed owner on how loyal they can be: We rescued a older puppy from a friend who was leaving her family and there were not the resources for keeping pets like there are now (in some places).
Pomeranian ❤
How dare you not put Dachshund on here. They are wonderful dogs. Loyal. ❤
I love all dogs, but for me, it’s hard to beat Labradors.
the word is impossible..
2:28 Actually, he’s a Scottish Terrier, not a miniature Schnauzer
I have had chihuahuas before our shelter pup who is heeler/border collie but I enjoy having a min pin. 💖
Most beautiful and cuddly doggies, love them so much ❤
I have a Golden Retriever I rescued him he's the best dog
We had a yellow Lab and then a Black Lab. Best dogs ever. my husband took them out every day. They were both raised as guide dog puppies. The Yellow Lab was chosen as a breeder. The Black Lab failed to make it as a guide dog. We don't expect to ever have such great dogs again.. Both of them did agility too. and the yellow Lab was so confident in everything.
We are both in our 80's now.
Think my cat was getting jealous as I was watching this.
I have 2 golden mini doodles and they’re so CUTE!!!!
You forgot to mention Burger Beagle from DuckTales another famous beagle who has a big appetite Snoopy's not the only famous beagle
My beagle is the sweetest and most loving girl ever. I know I'm biased but she is the best dog ever. I love being a beagle mom!
Westies and Bernese Mountain dogs are my favorites.
How did pit bulls not make the list??????
Not bad.
I’m really surprised the Cavalier King Charles didn’t appear on the list because that’s one of the great starter dogs.
I love dogs till the day I'm dead. I own a Yorkie male dog, and he's a really good boy. He's getting older, but he's really healthy at his age.
