Just goes to show that to be a great player, you have to lay some hands down, even if it means you’re wrong a few of those times. Because Mariano is indeed a great player
The 2nd nut flush hand. Where Raymond represents the Ace of Diamonds. Commentator says, i like this RE raise after the river, from Mariano. Yes, i agree in certain battles, however in this game.. These 2 are left in the Standup game. Its POOR play from Mariano. Its always a FLAT call, Always... If he wins after calling the 2.5k, fine with a Q high flush(King on the board). If he does have the Ace, NICE HAND move on. Pay the Stand up. But to give your opponent another bullet to reraise, was poor. Very poor from Mariano. He looses his reraise, looses the stand up, from a call all day. The reraise pays the standup if he lost. Yes, most definitely poor play.
I disagree. A spot like this so rarely gets bet, 3b on the river as a bluff. It's such a rare bluff that you can pretty easily raise fold for value. I think Raymond identified a genius spot where it was unlikely that Mariano had A high heart bc that would bet the turn, especially for the aggressive player he is, that does not trap enough.
@@TheNow_Now you are not taking the stand up into consideration. I agree with you if it wasn't the stand up. The flat call is the play. If he has the ace, fine, pay him, pay the stand up, you got beat with a solid hand. You only lost 2.5k plus the stand up. But if your queen is good, you won a small but nice pot, dont pay the stand up. Its about choosing your battles.
@@Keith-hs2sc You kept saying the same thing that does not explain why Mariano shouldn’t have raised there. The point is a river 3bet bluff without Ace of heart is so rare that it’s negligible in live execution. When was the last time you saw a bluff like this? So justifiably Mariano was just trying to make the most +ev river decision, standup game or not, and chose to thin value raise. In fact because it was a standup game opponent could have reluctantly called with a J or T of heart. Don’t be result oriented and give yourself false feedbacks in hand reviews. #1 killer for your own winrate
Why would raising with the second nut flush on the river be courageous? Seems pretty basic? Checking this back seems like you would be leaving a lot of money on the felt over time?
Mariano folding the 2nd nuts to a reraise..lol..he blocked the straightflush, so he was loosing to an A high flush..big mistake. 2nd hand he folded again to a reraise..yes, he is a fking luckbox otherwise he cannot win, as he is not even close to be a good poker player.
Actually Mariano had a really good bluff catcher hand. He blocked straight flush, Raymond did not bet in preflop, and with A (2,6,8,9,10,j,q,k, A) he would bet for sure, also as mariano only called he had less A in his range too... so I think here call would be reasonable. But yes, normally value raise here did not make much sense, that was a mistake in a party where 6 players was involved and 4 hearts on the board and the best hand to call your raise was a J of heart.
Mariano puts himself in tough spots but you can't deny the man gives action!
That bluff from Raymond was pure sickness….
That was just a misread, not a real bluff, a lucky misread.

Recognizing that Mariano Xb range on 4 tone flush is under defended and then his xc as first to act contains a lot of Ah combos is pretty incredible.

Raymond's image of being a tight player has paid off. It also helped that he was kool as a cucumber when he reraised...sick as!
Yeah, that was a very nice play. It would have been hard to decide if Mariano was weak or trapping when he checked the turn.
HCL coming in hot with the sarcasm! This video is the poker equivalent of a savage diss track. Shots fired !
Raymond’s bluff at the beginning is the kind of degeneracy that I aspire to
I’m a big fan of the outro tune/video y’all do.
I like the music at the end, reminds me of like an 80s/90s video game.
Calling 3bets out of position with 93s? Yeah, that's + EV for sure!!
I don't hate it against the whale!
Mariano is trying to give action bro. These people don't care.
+EV because it gets him in the juiciest games. The only skill you need in poker is to be playing big games where you have an edge

IM glad HCL is getting with the times and calling it like it is . MARIANO IS THE BIGGEST LUCK BOX IN POKER !!!!!!
No, we’ve all been in situations he has. He just capitalizes better than most of us. That’s the truth!
Bring back the old intro it was badass!
Hate how you put hands in these highlight shows that you’ve already posted seperately
Pepe looks like the pepe the frog meme
That Randy bluff is one of the top hands of the year ngl
You guys mislabeled this video, it should be titled, "When even Mariano gets bluffed".
Lol “luckbox” dude does run pretty pure sometimes
That bluff. I would have to pay. Second nut flush. I take that as a bad beat if it comes.
Didn't matter. The Qh became a pure bluff-catcher to the raise.
Nah man, this kinda bluff only happens with pros or super tilted players. On a normal tablet is a very sickening snap fold.
Marked deck?
7:40 Mariano may be a lion but Dan is the whole jungle
How old is Andy now? Couldn't understand it...
mariano just crushes recs like pepe
What a bluff.
What a bluff lol
2nd hand.
Marino should all in😢
Mariano,needs to take up checkers.

Yo Marino lmaoo stop abusing PEPE
Its been a few times that mariano gets bluffed, he is goind down. But this bluff is worse.
Oh you just figured out Mariano is a LuckBox?😅🎉
Super Clickbait title, the man loses 2 of the 3 hands lmao
That first hand hurt me. Though stop
Pepe took too long to call with AA. Easy call, especially with a missed diamond draw out there.
Will talking about drinking 3 tequillas then driving to vegas after stream... questionable at best
Who cares. He wouldn’t even be over the limit after that + time🙄
Hcl loves Pepe tanks longer views 😮
These guys all shop at Dan Flashes
But when someone gets lucky on Mariano he starts making faces
Good to see Pepe taking Ls
