That little speech at the end showd his class... keeping his mouth shut when he's winning as a courtesy to the other players is smart. Doesn't scare them off the table
Why would'nt he? Everyone is trying to win$
@@aaronkingcto yep. The irony 😂
Couldn't agree more. Garrett is such a class act when it comes to poker etiquette and staying low key when he wins a big pot. I know he puts himself in his opponent's shoes when they lose a monster pot.

lol.. good one..
Funny thing is they think they have a chance
Smart move bro
He's a true pro though - he keeps the game fun, light hearted and engaging so don't mind playing with him
One of the most genuine and real things about Garrett is that he loves when people troll him and understands that that banter is not only good for the game, but good for his future outcome when people feel "safe" and get complacent against him! True class act no matter what's going on! Also say what you want about his luck, but dude can straight up play...like it or not!
Insightful input. I like.
Statistically his luck can't be more than anyone else. It all averages out. He just *seems* lucky because he can knows how to lose the least when bad and max value when good! Then just like his table image is so dominant the commentator said people are too scared to bluff him and so when they have a hand they're face up vs him.
yeah a lot of people have said he can't play, you see those comments so often. good thing you defended his honor.

@@justtellthetruth1134 Think you're probably right. Statistically it doesn't make sense.
@@justtellthetruth1134 Yep, the dealer just "coolered" Ben with 10-4 off and 8 high.
"The board pairs which makes it way less likely that Garret has a full house" I get what he is saying, but I thought that board pairing was needed for a guy to have full house.
He means when the board pairs one of the cards from a flop that it’s less likely he flopped a set due to less potential combos of flopped sets
Board pair reduces possible combos of 22s from 3 to just 1. So it’s a really good card for an overpair. He’s already losing to sets, this card cuts the number of possible sets down
Like I said, I get what he is meaning. But a board paring does not reduce the chances that someone has a FH, it can only increase it since its essential for people having a FH. He could instead say that a board pairing reduced the chance that Garret flopped a set.

@@c0nc3ntr8d6 exactly he’s no luckier than anybody else. Variance is the same across the board long term.
@@jacobpotter2237 I think people consider him lucky because he plays more hands than most players, due in part to his superior skill. Simply put he is a looser player so he appears luckier, since he has more opportunities to get lucky.
No one is lucky. Some have been lucky, but no one "is".
@@dm6187 nailed it
This was a combination of Garret’s skill, running very well and the players around him just making poor decisions. Absolutely love Wesley, but that all in once the diamond hit on the river was a definite punt. With 4 diamonds on the board, you have to figure that was the main thing garret continues with there.
@UCE15BkBRqb46cD8HFlLyAPw I could make fun of your typo, but no he actually moved in once the 7 of diamonds hit on the river with 11k left.
Wesley jammed the turn when the third A peeled off, not when the fourth diamond came in on the river.
@@shaquilleoatmeal325 Wesley should have jammed turn. Garrett isn't actually mathematically priced into call there if he thinks he's behind, so would actually put Garrett in a tough spot.
