Definitely. This bit had ONE theme and that was it. Make the point with the dog and her and then move forward. The guy who "can't get taller" was progress but then they slid back into the groove which was already played out. These comments on every video are a sign. No animosity, no resentment, just real criticisms of the lack of originality and social commentary. We need something new and raw. Something that speaks to current life in different ways
@@tattoofthesunn795 That's perfectly stated. I said years ago, that what differentiated SNL from MadTV for me was that, SNL has this quality where it feels like it's overplaying the joke. Where once you've laughed at it, it just seems to go on a bit longer than what's comfortable, and starts to border on being awkward and in the worst case, kind of cringy. There's rarely any surprise twist, it's just the same one note.
