Actuellement ma lampe torche favorite est la d25lc2 tactique. Mais j'ai aussi la version clicky avec laquelle j ai commencer les tube. Du coup j aime les deux.
I love the Olight M1x Striker, my husband prefers the Klarus XT2C we both like the Nitecore P26 & MT22C for their regular strobe, especially for tubes, I have the KYO system so got the Klarus XT12S but it has an irregular strobe so I will be getting the NitecoreSRT6 we also use the TG06S Thorfires which are great for small tubes or putting in the other end of larger tubes for better light or added strobing. I bought most of these through your recommendations & have not regretted one purchase. Oh & I got an Olight X7R Marauder for Christmas for trying backlighting. I have got other torches but these are the ones we use the most. Many thanks for your previous recommendations
@@donnaeaves3058 haha you're a real warrior! Hey before you purchase the SRT6, can you tell me how you are using the KYO system? (just to figure out if my constant-strobe hack could work for you :) )
Hy Eric and all the best from Romania. i'm using 2 flashlights olight S30RII and olight S30R III and i'm very happy with them, but the wowtac looks interesting! thanks for the video!
WOW!!!! I was looking for a thrower flashlight for going through the swamp at night. I need a flashlight that goes far so I don't hit anything like trees or Cypress knees in the water. This showed up and after watching it I watched a few more on light painting. WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN?!?!?! This is the most awesomeness thing I've ever seen!!!!! Thank you Sir (and RUclips) for showing me this art form!!!! Liked and subscribed!!!!!
Well ill like to know in this particular case, which is heated more, I have tried other very different and I have made a diy tube, but the heat causes parts to be damaged, also will like to know the distance and other uses as you say on the beginning. You talk more of price than other things 🙈 thats my thought
Une vidéo qui tombe au bon moment, je suis en pleine recherche de nouveaux outils lumineux. Merci Eric, ton travail est hallucinant, et tes tutoriels sont une aide précieuse !
Thanks for the update Eric. I'm hoping to pull the trigger on a good lightpainting flashlight in the next couple of weeks. It's always good to see your input on this.
Thank you for sharing and thank you for your input when I was flashlight shopping in December 2018 :-) I settled for the Wuben TO40R Flashlight because of the brightness and the fact that it technically doesn't dim down on turbo mode at 1200 lumens. It has all the functionality I need. I was too impatient to wait a couple of days for the M1 Striker, but I have no regrets. The Wuben has proven to be very solid, reliable and delivers as the specs say. It's a big upgrade for me having previously shot with 2 x 400 lumens flashlights in one tube.
Eric, thanks for your review...AGAIN! I have two of the Olight Strikers as per your suggestion. I think you could grind off the bezel points pretty easy with a sander. By first covering the lens and then grinding the points away, there should be no damage to the light. I would do it to show you what I mean, but I kind of want them left on. I'll grind them off for you if you feel like sending it to me. -Brent.
You have always been my inspiration to click some delightful pictures. Your light painting work is "high art" truly ! I've been waiting to purchase a 1000 lumens flashlight. Wish I get one.
I want one!!!! These are incredible!!! That’s really funny how there are 6 now haha. It’s so crazy now for light painting but absolutely incredible and you’re still the king! ;;)
Live this video. Theres definitely a difference in these torches and in different situations. I've been using the Olight torch based on your recommendations and absolutely love it based on the memory function
YES!!!!!! This one was supposed to become the official low-budget option but many folks from the group told me that they had a non-constant strobe version of it. So.... Thorfire is making two different versions of this light, and there's no way to figure out which one you'll get. Crazy thing :) Do you have constant strobe on yours?
Eric Paré / Xangle oh ok. Got it. Thank you very much for replying. Did a few shots with my wife last weekend and think I need a stronger flashlight. Currently using a klarus Mi7 and it does ok when I use 2 flashlights but not strong enough to shoot during sunset. Anyway thank you for your time. Hope you guys can visit Manila someday 😊
Thank you sir...your video helps me lots... thanks for sharing your amazing work & information to us... thanks you are legendary... I want one!!!! These are incredible!!! That’s really funny how there are 6 now haha. It’s so crazy now for light painting but absolutely incredible and you’re still the king! ;;)
Awesome review! Still love my nitecore mt22c even if airport security didn’t! Super easy adjuster for lumens/strobe and the eagle tax d25lc2 for smaller tubes. Keep on keeping on!
You can get it from here (it ships to Canada) www.amazon.com/M1X-Tactical-Flashlight-LumenTac-Batteries/dp/B07DRQX6ZT/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=m1x+striker&qid=1576592607&sr=8-4
How's your day / Comment etait ta journee, Eric?. I have 2 Nitecore MT22C and ThorFire VG-15S. Nitecore is my the most favourite because I can adjust the dim based on the night and astro-photography. That's how I bought it from your Tubestories 89 recommended. Will plan to buy other flashlights to experiment like Klarus XT2CR & Outline flashlight. Not sure if all of flashlights have the same kind of batteries? Your Tubestories always impress me and excellent sources! Keep it up.. Till next time, PEACE!
Hi John. You already have good ones. The "outline" one would be a good addition, especially at that price (12$?). This one uses either 1x AA or 1x 14500 (more powerful). Thanks :)
Thank you brotha for sharing...Not yet did an experiment..but your insta feed is so awsome and one inspiring one..want to photograph some light painting shots sooon..Hi from kerala,India
Thanksssssss Eric for youre explaining, 4 me it wil be the Olight M1x striker 4 shure the memory is great.an there is also a push/hold remote for this flash light SMILE SMILE Greatingssssssssssss
WOWTAC BSS V4 Tactical LED Flashlight just came out. More lumens and has a memory mode. Can be charged with battery inside via USB cable. It has a reading light mode which is very low for Astro. Only problem is that it is only available, to my knowledge, from Amazon USA so it doubles in price when shipped to us Europeans. Does anyone here know where we can buy it in Europe?
I am doing tube light painting for a photography assignment and I'd love to just buy 1 torch. Would you recommend the Wowtac BSS v3 or Nitecore MT22c for me to buy? Thank you :)
So..... what is your favorite flashlight? Either for tubes or other type of light-painting. Tell me ::)
I just ordered my first flashlight(wowtac bss v3) online through your link. Im looking forward to kicking it up a notch with light-painting this year.

I have the Olight M1x striker for tubes and for light painting I have an old incandescent army issue torch. Love the temp of this incandescent light.

Great review. Didn't know that so many types are available. Thanks a ton.
Eric, you're the one who inspired me to pursue my career in Photography, especially Light Painting ❤️😍
Keep inspiring, keep sharing.

hey Francois! :) I updated the link for the Klarus. It is still the brightest one :)
Thanks a lot again! Here in Finland it’s dark most of the day in winter so we have a lot of time to do lightpainting. Awesome review 💫 keep up.
