So glad to see you and your videos up and running again! Started watching just before the pandemic closed all the resorts and cancelled our first trip to Breckenridge. Our next trip is in two weeks and very excited to finally see in person all these runs. It looks like you’ve got the mountain to yourself in most of the videos. What has the new Freedom chair done to traffic on Peak 7? More, less, about the same?
The Freedom chair is the one to use on Pk7. Lines there are usually shorter than at the Independence chair. Having a 2nd chair has increased skier density at the top. But Pk7 has a lot of acreage to it. And once you get into the specific run you want to be on, it does not seem too much more crowded to me.
Peak 7 intermediate runs are my favorite at Breckinridge fun skiing rollers. Hopefully starts snowing more going to be at Breckinridge at end of January probably going to have hard packed and icy runs for skiing.
It really just depends on the weather. The ski area is making snow when it is cold enough to do so. And of course the more natural snow that falls the better.
Family and I are skiing 1 day at Breck in February. Love watching your videos so that I can familiarize myself with the mountain before we get there, so that we don't waste any time looking for good runs!

Any idea when more trails will open up at Breck this season. I'm coming up in 2 weeks

April 07, 2017. Other than Opening Day, I have not filmed anything yet this 2017-18 season. I might get a chance to next week or the one after that.
