    Ted I am curious what your opinion is, re: hardest blue on each peak? And the easiest black run at Breck ?

    • @BreckSnowPro
      @BreckSnowPro  4 года назад

      It really depends on the conditions of the day. Spruce, Frosty's Freeway, and American are usually groomed and some of the easier single black diamond runs when they are. And hardest blue on each peak really starts splitting hairs but I'll go with Sundown on Pk9, Dukes on Peak 8, and pass on the other peaks.

    You should do the Ore Bucket.

    Thinking of a family ski trip to Breck soon but I have a wife and kids who are beginners. Would like to stay at the Independence Lift base area but all the runs off this lift are intermediate. Can anyone comment on the actual level of difficulty of these runs because they appear more beginner than intermediate. Several flat sections and nothing that really looks intermediate. Are Breck's runs rated differently than other resorts?

      You could take the gondola from Crystal Peak Lodge to the base of Peak 8 and start on the beginner runs there.

      @@BreckSnowPro True. Any thoughts on my questions though? Are the blues here more like greens at other mountains?

    • @BreckSnowPro
      @BreckSnowPro  4 года назад

      I would not take anyone to ski the blues on Peak 7 unless they already showed me that they were safe and comfortable on easier blue runs like Springmeier and Bonanza. I'm not going to try to comment on how other resorts might rate their runs.

      I know I’m late, but just some food for thought. Steepness is hard to show on camera from a POV, unless he looks directly to the side to show the actual angle. Looks can be deceiving! Watch his double black bowl videos, even those can appear easy/not steep on camera but in reality they’re marked double black for a reason! Good luck :)

      @@annakus4076 Yes, it can be difficult to see the actual steepness, but a run like this, where you can mostly point your skis straight down the hill and hardly ever make a turn, wouldn't be a blue at most other resorts.

    Guy recently bit the dust on this trail...not sure how it looks pretty mellow and wide. Must have been new :(

      Im watching because of this, Im a new snowboarder 13 times in... Im OK and am going to breck in 2 weeks. Gives me quite a scare but I am from the ice coast and board diamonds so I feel confident but still good to have the knowledge this is VERY possible so I can be more cautious, life is so precious

      @@David.Dawson. Bro, if you have any sort of experience snowboarding there is no way that you should be dying on this trail. I mean I don't want to discount or disrespect the guy that did pass away but it must have been a very freak accident because this looks like a green run on a lot of resorts I go to

    You mention that one of your playlists offer order of difficulties. If I go to your blue play list. Does it mean the first video is the easiest ?

    • @BreckSnowPro
      @BreckSnowPro  5 лет назад

      @ Kimberly Templeman - No. There really is no reasoning to how videos within a given playlist are ordered. I sometimes move one to the top to make it easy for someone specific to find. And I think RUclips posts new ones to the top by default. What I was probably referring to is that I have different playlists categorized by beginner, intermediate, black diamond, etc.
