Ive seen little kids fight and this kid is very good props bro. Most kids just do round kicks every time any little kid under ten who spices it up like that has skill, respect
That's amazing lol. Of only I was that good when I was his age, everyone learns at there own speeds lol. It's been 14 years now since I've been doing Tae Kwon Do
I've been doing taekwondo since I was 4 1/2 at 8 1/2 i had a black belt same as this kid, except i never fought anyone my age because I was the youngest one there. The only other kid that was close to my age was 10 1/2 but i rarely fought him. They had me fighting teenagers. I didn't always win, but i did most of the time.
He's good, but saying hes the worlds best is a big assumption, it's a big world and I have seen some amazing youngsters in Taekwondo as good as him and even better.
These kids need to keep up this sort of high level high intensity training. But they need to round their game up a little bit. The end result for any of these fighters whether it be Wrestling taekwondo jujitsu MuyThai kickboxing. The end result is to fight makes martial arts professionally and I hope a lot of these kids are doing other disciplines besides this. Because if they are that good at this that young they will be just as good at the ground game
No it is not like that in some countries for example in France there in I practice the TKD one has the right to strike on the head when you are Minima in not below
His skill level is so far ahead if his age group opponents, that its like he is kicking a bag. The poor kids are just literally walking and sometimes running directly into his counters with there hands down. He has obviously put in far more training than his age group opponents which account for the large disparity. Nevertheless, he shows good skills and evidently has great psychomotor skills which have helped him become so proficient. I've seen a lot of kids his age in other sports as well.. Currently, like all driven all kids his age, they are far above the rest, but as they all age, the other kids start to catch up; the gap dosen't remain the same. No matter the current separation, the other kids mature, become more dedicated thus developing their own high level of skills. The challenge will be keeping him motivated and healthy for the future. He may be the next Bruce Lee or maybe the next gymnastic Kurt Thomas or ice skating star...in any case it will come back to his early training.
Love children learning self-defense but it's still disturbing seeing a child getting KO'd in the name of competition. Head guards need extra padding, plus shin and foot pads too.
DIZZYGIT Gathering into a large arena, wearing protective gear to participate in a contest of skill and endurance with similarly geared up people, where there are very specific and extensive rules regarding what techniques are allowed and where they can be applied, with referees and administrators who ensure that the contestants abide by these rules, all while people sit in the stands around the arena to watch and cheer. Yes, that is a sport.
+DIZZYGIT head gear spreads the impact damage across the brain it also stops the attacking foot from getting hurt so the attacker is able to hit harder for a longer period of time effectively causing more damage than without the padding. without the pads the foot will get hurt and the head will be more protected as the impact area is focue intead of spread over the whole head area, meaning the the attacks will become lighter and less frequent so less damage with less padding. its like boxing. since the modern boxing glove was made offical there have been more brain related injuries and deaths becasue of extra padding than when it was jsut the fist or a mall amount of wrapping. no we don't to see kids getting hurt unnecessarily but it would be better for the body, bone densitiy and structure for actual impact than padded impact.
proconsulaugustus Korea is good but anybody could be good with proper coaching from anywhere. Repititions, high intensity, technique, drills, forms etc could be learned anywhere in the globe with precision. Don't believe all the god-hype that top practioners across any slot in Taekwondo only come from Korea, that only happens when you're comparing the money making taekwondo mcdojos that give their belts out against the best of Korea.
Can't wait to see him in the future olympics. Beautiful footwork; I'm blown away and amazed of his movement. Keep up the great work.

DIZZYGIT This isn't really self defense though, it's only sport.
LemonStacks :D Yea that's right - it's sport when kids are kicking each other in the head.

proconsulaugustus Korea is good but anybody could be good with proper coaching from anywhere. Repititions, high intensity, technique, drills, forms etc could be learned anywhere in the globe with precision.
