With all due respect , ahem , I hear that you are 'changing accommodation ' :-) And getting along with some of your dreams :-) Made one come true :-) Just in this episode :-) Do not see this as your ship , though someone likes quad /motor bikes /wireless speakers :-) Meanwhile , this is just the support ship :-) I did hear about the other ship , nice to see how some live :-) And a very good tax right off :-) Am not a fan of tax :-) I dream of being able to pay $190 k to fill up the tank in one of my vessels :-) So , what is the progress on your new accommodation ? 12 /18/24 months ? Am looking forward to that :-)
The Engineers and craftsman that build this vessel are as gifted as the Gene technology that the owner has developed to be able to afford such dream machines.
I've been following you guys for about two years and this was just amazing. Your credibility in the yachting/boating community has increased exponentially. Great job guys, and looking forward to the build update on your new home. Thank You for sharing, you keep our dreams alive. God Bless!
I personally enjoyed seeing the crew members in their daily routine, I know in a perfect world the video would only show the primary character and the vessel but I don't live in a perfect world so it was a nice touch of reality to candidly catch them on board.
Good heavens! That is a support boat that beats a ton of yachts out there. You could live on that quite comfortably. This is how you build a boat tandem if you have the money. What a great support vessel.
This boat not only fulfills a representative purpose but also a useful one. Many areas speak a different language than one is used to from conventional yachts. Here the benefit is in the foreground and the adventure of being at sea. The technical data speak for themselves and the lines are very elegantly chosen.
OUTSTANDING !! WOW !! So impressive ..!! They should do a joint venture build with Bearing maybe an icebreaker super yacht for the Arctic Scientific exploration to slow down Global warming and Ocean level rising threats. Thanks for sharing while entertaining and educating.
Totally amazing. Two 180 foot boats is mind boggling and especially with science, exploration, fun in the sun, and great people. Can't get no better than that. 👍👍🍺🍺
OMW , owner designed , brilliant . Did not see some of the cabins though . What I did like was function over form , a working ship :-) Pull up to the filling station and get 150000 l of diesel . The engineer was so chilled and it slowed down the pace of the tour , was just so much to see :-) All in 26 mins . 2 minor points:-) after mentioning the 'sea door' , when heading down you walked through another , fine engineering :-) And could have watched for longer . we did not really get to see how big the anchor is :-) Still , a great tour of an amazing ship , thanks .
Not only is the vessel great, the owner is a brilliant first class gentlemen who has done wonders for science. I love when hard working self made men enjoy life. Just spectacular. Thanks Victoria for this video.
Im In love with what I believe is the navigator's table, the horizontal built in large screen. Only way to upgrade that would be to make it fully 3D with a system like Tilt5 augmented reality. Imagine having a 3D representation from sonar when coming into a port. No more worries about an unexpected sandbar.
The aft windows of the pilothouse caught my eye; they were kept even when the deck behind was enclosed. Also the hatch (two piece!) over the stairway down from the pilothouse. A really awesome vessel!
I love that the deck has cargo container attachment points which appear to be used for not only containers but also as the mounting system for the tender supports and stuff. It also looks like the mounts are arranged for both 20 and 40 foot containers making it incredibly flexible. A few friends and I have for several years been thinking about having a live-aboard research ship built and one of the key things we've considered is using cargo containers mounted to the deck as "research/science" pods, rather than having any particular research purpose built into the boat.
Just an incredible machine. Also inspiring to see how the owner lives, works and plays. So much more interesting than the typical Boston or silicon valley set up.
Wholly excitement.....pinball machine in service bay or lazzarette😊😊😊 that engine room is freaking huge I agree it's a gem.. Victorias smile and giddiness Must be a great boat

@@NautiStyles thank you for having a wonderful youtube page. I love the ocean.. can't get enough of it. Lol. Nearest ocean to me is 1000 miles south. Lol
I seen a video of a couple. Cost them 25,000$ usd to travel 3000km in a 60 foot yacht. Are use having similar travel prices. They had 6000$ fixing fee during the trip. So could even say 19,000$.
For a simple man this ship is too much to even dream about. I find it awesome that the world and men are this big. When you two are this excited it really shows the grandness that this ship has. Best of all you two always keep it fun, and still my favorite is the film speed when moving longer distances between showing different areas. So fun and lighthearted. Coolest couple and such a gracious and worldly host on this tour. All the best and continued success! ⚓💓🇺🇸

. Really nice industrial chic flavor to this. Curios what the various wall and floor materials were, quite plain and fancy and fire proof too I suppose. Pleased you were able to show this one and thanks to Damen also.
Those CAT motors are the same ones we use in the oilfield. CAT and MTU are my favorites. From my time working on the CAT engines and getting certification on them they're made to run with 90% load. So it's pretty cool to see them used on super yachts.
Oh Daddy! Those ENGINES! 40% and still just cruising along at 18 knots. That's a slick sweet piece of steel. The aft deck with all the items, container, crane. Omfg - I'd be as goofy as Rico was. 🤣
You guys are my favorite yacht showers. I love you guys so much you make this so fun. You always get every inch in the camera screen and this is the #1 RUclips channel for yachts.
Very interesting, this is the first video of a support vessel I have seen and I am so please that it was you guys that made it. Fabulous as always. Thank you!!
Disappointed you didn’t show how Gene Machine and Gene Chaser setup at the dock with sterns facing each other. I see it in Old Saybrook, CT when they dock at Saybrook Point.
That’s the perfect support vessel for my buddy’s 24’ center console fishing boat. I don’t know if he could wait 2 years for it though, he’ll probably have to settle for a tire inner tube and a rope.
