I agree, caps aren't necessary. Although in this install it won't hurt/help anything. In a higher wattage build the capacitor would just be in the way. A 2nd battery will do justice and if necessary then definitely a high output alternator. But that's for Systems with 2k+ watts. Anything under that just requires great wiring, 2awg minimum of OFC power/ground, 2nd battery and the big 3 upgrade. If you still want to install a cap then install it in your neighbors car! Lol
Did you say you bought it for about $400? Where did you find it so cheap? I like the setup.... sounds clean and just enough bass.... I’m not looking to rattle the neighbors’ windows
Well first look at the speaker diagram of the vehicle you are going to install and then you make sure you tap to the low range speakers. Easy set up. When you buy the product it will come with detail instructions. Now for the the powering of the unit (lc2i) easy. every one works a little bit different , but the way i did it, was i hooked all my 12v power directly from my amp and i get my ground from my amp as well were the terminal are on amp and the romote comes from the lc2i.
You're using alpine m55, audiocontrol epicenter and audiocontrol lc2i all for the subs? For the stereo you still keep the original HK amp? This system sound is awesome man, i will copy you lol.
Hi Daniel, quick confirmation needed, looks like you're using the stock deck to run these subs... I want to do the same thing with my subs and amp...I couldn't find a wiring harness online for this... I have the exact same head unit in my 2011 Cooper Clubman R55. Could you advise where you got your wiring harness ? Thanks man!
Nice Mini Cooper and the system sounds good but I have a question I don't know if you can answer it I'm planning to buy a Mini Cooper but I want to know how reliable it's I would appreciate man
Throwing good money after bad. I owned one of these rolling piles of junk for three years until it betrayed me 2kmiles after the factory warranty expired.
Did you have to install a remote wire so that the lc2i turns on? Or dose it pick up the signal from your speakers and turns on? Dose the lc2i turn on you amp and dose it shut off?
AUDICONTROL LC2I-about this item-I researched it. Shall we understand this processor improves the sound that is coming from the factory speakers-so there is no need to buy aftermarket speakers? Is that so? Thanks!
No. What it does, it takes the signal from the factory head unit and converts it to RCA outputs which you need to plug in to your amplifier. Then amplifier sends music signal to speakers. Most of the amplifiers can’t be connected to the factory head units.
No its easy you can use speaker wires like 16 Gage - 20 Gage wires. Thats what i did and you can see it on the video i just got creative lol. just pay attention to diagram that come in the box of LCI2.
Thanks for the help!!!! Liking the rims on your ride what kind/size are those? I've got pepper white Mini and looking for rims and think those color would look nice on mine....Thanks
Daniel Lopez Thanks 4 size of rims, a bit much 4 here in Wisconsin thou. Where you able to still have rear speaker you spliced into? Or do you lose that speaker? I ordered LC2I today so would like some info before hand. Thanks again for your replies they've been helpful!
yes all of my speakers work. just t-tap dont spliced them its more pain in the ass. TAP into you low range speakers in pair so you can get a better out put. On my car the factory amp is on the rear driver side trunk so it was easy just to tap into the cables. Here is a link of were to buy the t taps it makes life easier. www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=25058866&numProdsPerPage=60&znt_campaign=Category_CMS&znt_source=CAT&znt_medium=RSCOM&znt_content=CT2032231#
Sorry for the late respond. But i pulled the cable straight from the battery wish is inside the a plastic chamber. pull the battery out you will see the car main power cable threw firewall their is an extra rubber nipple so you can put an after market cables.
utubecomment21 in bass performance ?? Thanks for the recommendation I’ve been searching Sundowns right now and god damn all the vehicles are rattling lmao . I almost purchased the JL MICROSUB on amazon for $560 but man those sun downs subs are POUNDING . Thanks again man
Something is wrong with the install I hear no bass at all. Your install makes JL audio sound like a tin can, Nooooooooooooooo Basssssssssssssssss I have one JL8 and it pounds compared to this setup
Stereo Sales they dont make you system sound better if thats what you think, but look at a ripple wave on your alternator and compare when the bass hits and i guarrantee you will see a difference. Amps have capacitors inside them, impossible to work without them, all your doing is upgrading from the internal caps of the amp, which smooths out the electrical demand on your alternator. Another option is to upgrade your alternator, or second battery, but batteries need to be charged like any other car battery. Caps dont hold a charge like a battery.
Is subs even playing cant tell

I have 1400 watts good wiring and a Big 3 upgrade. No need for a cap or extra battery
Your car and setup is 🔥🔥 bro
I love the enclosure, but damn they're pricey. Nice setup man.
But im sure there worth every penny. 2 year warranty also.
Got an 8 w3v3 for sale. Someone gave the sub to me for a job I did but I'm not an 8 inch sub kind of guy.
Did you say you bought it for about $400? Where did you find it so cheap? I like the setup.... sounds clean and just enough bass.... I’m not looking to rattle the neighbors’ windows
Oh yea, and Daniel, you'd be so much pleased if you installed a dedicated amp for those subs. JL500/1 would complete it..
What's with the sun shade in the garage? :D
Sounds like a robot car- cool!! Nice sound system!

This system sound is awesome man, i will copy you lol.
I didn't hear any bass and I'm not being a dick or sarcastic... I have the single version of the subs and mine sounds great.

You have problems with lights dimming?
That's what I'm looking in a system for my truck. I like the clean sound. I hate to much rattle from bass.

yes their factory speakers.
Throwing good money after bad. I owned one of these rolling piles of junk for three years until it betrayed me 2kmiles after the factory warranty expired.
AUDIOCONTROL EPICENTER
how did you wire the LC2i?
Did you have to install a remote wire so that the lc2i turns on? Or dose it pick up the signal from your speakers and turns on? Dose the lc2i turn on you amp and dose it shut off?
LCI2i uses a GTO so yes it turns on and turns off with out a input remote and it turns on your amps or accessories
It has both options.
Quedaron exelentes las medidas del cajon en el mini Cooper. Buen video amigo. Que amplificador estas usando, me podrias pasar el modelo?

This songs are saved (not downloaded) from pandora into this other app. only if your jailbroken.
What year is your mini
do you have stock front speakers?
Hello I'm looking to the same. Is it hard to find wires for LC2i for amp? Could you tell me how you did this. Thanks
No its easy you can use speaker wires like 16 Gage - 20 Gage wires. Thats what i did and you can see it on the video i just got creative lol. just pay attention to diagram that come in the box of LCI2.

How many channels amp you run
what kind of wheels are those?
where did you pull the 12+volts from
Sorry for the late respond. But i pulled the cable straight from the battery wish is inside the a plastic chamber. pull the battery out you will see the car main power cable threw firewall their is an extra rubber nipple so you can put an after market cables.
Don’t let your gf see this video or she’ll get your phone password! 😉
Hi Dan
Sorry to tell you, the mid are not there.
The only sound that I can listen are the highs and subs.
Are you in America?
anything shake?
what touch screen system is that?
Its not a touch screen that how it comes from the factory.
it look lime pacman stereo!! are you change it?
yeah, I'm sure the subs are awesome, but the camera mic stinks :) I've got two coming!
That larry hernandez ! Gay car tho gangsta music lol
loooool
I disagree. It’s Gangsta car, with gay music
what capacitor are you using?
A lot of money for not much performance. I know I used to own one. Get a single Sundown e-10 sealed 0.5 cubit ft, and it'll waste the CP208!
Does that explain why JL Audio doesn't sell any subwoofers? Everyone that wants sound quality is buying Sundown subs right?
Not everyone wants spl
utubecomment21 in bass performance ?? Thanks for the recommendation I’ve been searching Sundowns right now and god damn all the vehicles are rattling lmao . I almost purchased the JL MICROSUB on amazon for $560 but man those sun downs subs are POUNDING . Thanks again man
sounds good for 500 rms
CCW! 👍🏽🤓
Nice!
eso era todo
