- Welcome to my first ever day-in-the-life (more like week-in-the-life) vlog! 🙌🏾🌟
on my day to day, behind-the-scenes, life? Well this is pretty much it. I work, all the time lol. For the past three years, I've been sharing my loc journey with you all, and now I'm ready to show you guys a little more. Some of you have been here with me since day 1, and I'm so grateful! Thank you for taking this journey with me!
You'll get to see a few installs, a number of retightenings, and hear about what's going on with me! First up, I'll be sharing an intimate look at a microlocks install I'm working on. It's such an honor to help someone embark on their loc journey, and I can't wait for you to be a part of it! 🧡

You don’t use the Sisterlocs tool? Is what you are using better? If so, why?
I don’t have any Sisterlocks reti videos recorded in this video. Every head of locs you see me actually retightening on the screen, (AND installing ) are regular microlocks. I have both microlock and sisterlock clients. I can not put myself retightening Sisterlocks online. Notice, if it was labeled sisterlocks - you only got to see the head when it was done. You don’t actually get to see me do any of the reti.
You can only see the finished look of a Sisterlocks retightening in this video. I did not record myself retightening any of my sisterlocks clients.

I liked the video as soon as I saw the lil scrubby dub of the chair! All in the crevices! So you was really serious about seeing these shows A MILLION TIMES BACK TO BACK! 😂😂 I'm so sorry, making you watch them all over again. I like the idea of celebrating 1 year locaversary. The spiral ties or any loc accessories(sprinkles, headbands, head wraps), Loc'd shirt or keychain, pocket mirror? I dunno lol. I like the direction your new page is going, I enjoyed it. 💜
lol. I laughed as soon as I saw your name pop up on my phone. all I saw was "I liked the video as soon as I saw the lil scrubby" lol. Listen, you guys can watch what you want. I'm supposed to be watching your hair anyway! But I ultimately decided on spiral ties from Yourlocmuse. I wear them all the time. I think you guys will enjoy those! ❤️

@TheRealKylaB I thought I saw something on RUclips about micro lock classes, but I could be wrong. I'm I'm Louisiana, and I can't find anyone here that does any training.
It’s possible they have them online. I just don’t know any to recommend personally

No. I don’t. Sorry.
Help, should I do sisterlocks or microlocks? I already had a sisterlocks consult. I’m still torn
What exactly are you torn about? There’s no wrong answer. What are you leaning towards?
@TheRealKylaB I am worried I won't be able to keep up my reties. The loctician I found is in education and I'm in Calgary so it's a 3.5 hour drive on a good day but I'm winter the roads could be horrible. Also afraid my hair won't look great with sisterlocks
That’s the thing with any type of locs. You won’t know until you know ! There’s no other way to find out.
And yes. That’s too far. You should find someone closer before you commit
