🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟
So I’ve seen that this game has gotten a lot of 7’s and 8’s from reviewers, and I actually think that’s a dead on assessment. As a game, it’s decent, albeit repetitive. As an experience, however, it’s top notch, and makes me really hopeful for the future of the PSVR2 and VR in general. This game looks stunning, and it’s just something that will never translate over on RUclips. You can only really feel it when you have the headset on. You can see the potential here. There’s fun combat, light-crafting, looting, a full story, collectibles, puzzle solving etc. It’s a real game, and not just a glorified Disneyland ride like a lot of VR games tend to be.
The main thing that holds Horizon Call of the Mountain back is that it focuses too much on the climbing. The climbing is about 80 to 85% of the gameplay here, and while it is fun, it gets very dull after a while. I will give the game credit, in that they do a good job of adding more and more climbing tools throughout the game, keeping it as fresh as possible. But ultimately, there’s not enough variety here to give the game anything higher than a 7.5. There is shades of brilliance here. The sense of scale and grandeur is unmatched. I’m not a person who has done a ton of VR games, so I’m sure there’s others games on this level. But for me, this is a completely unique experience I’ve had in gaming. I hope Sony continues down this path!
Set in a post-apocalyptic landscape besieged by machine lifeforms, Horizon Call of the Mountain follows Ryas, a former member of the Shadow Carja who seeks redemption by uncovering a new threat looming over his former home; the campaign features both new and previously-established characters including series protagonist Aloy. Gameplay, presented from first-person perspective and requiring a PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset, emphasizes Ryas' archery and climbing abilities. Players can use a bow to fight numerous Machines previously introduced in earlier titles, and utilize climbing and platforming to traverse the game's landscapes. An additional mode, River Ride, allows the player to passively explore the game world.
Horizon Call Of The Mountain All Cutscenes (Full Game Movie) 4K UHD includes the full story, ending and final boss of the game. The game was played, recorded and edited by Gamer’s Little Playground team. We recorded the game in 4K 60FPS on the PSVR2. In short, the video includes the full game, ending and all story related scenes. The video includes the ending, full story, all cutscenes, final boss, all bosses, no commentary, all missions and all cinematics.

Totally agree. We were gaming together with a friend, switching during gameplay and the greatest shock was always when you stopped watching the screen and put on the headset...
Being my very first vr experience, the beginning cut scene sequence blew me away seeing the machines up and close...I wasn't fussed on the straffing combat in some of the machines boss fights, probably because used to fighting them in open world arenas not some linear circular area..yea the climbing got tiresome at times...but to actually get to climb part of a giant metal devil up close was another high point for me in this game.
Seeing thunder jaws up close from first person view really gives you an appreciation for what Alloy does, taking on huge machines and even riding or taming some of those same huge machines
Such a pity that this game is only available in VR.
For people who are motion-sensitive, or get motion sickness easily, it's no fun.
I was getting motion sickness the first couple of hours for sure. Had to take a break every 30 mins, and I'm not a person who usually gets motion sickness. But I did get use to it after a while luckily. Adding the vignette for a while also helped, they had tons of options to customize for your comfort.
back when I first played haloCE 1 I got motion sickness just from a game being in first person. for VR motion sickness you can build up a tolerance by doing short 10 minute sessions....eventually work your way up to 15minute. than 30...than 60 ect. ect
this game was built from the gorund up for vr. that means interacting with your hands. so it could never work iin 2d, and honestly vr needs more games that take full adavntage of hand presence.
I kind of hope they pull a Kingdom Hearts and bring this character-Ryas-into the next Horizon game on the PlayStation systems. You’ll know enough when you meet the next Horizon game. In Horizon, you meet him and know enough about him, but really fill in the blanks if you’ve played the VR game.
The Horizon games are so underrated
Assassin's Creed of Robot. Just boring
@Crab in A Top Hat yeah, kind of like how there’s nothing revolutionary about The Last of Us or Uncharted 4, yet those games are considered the greatest games of all time (if anything TLOU is generic in every and all aspects and has absolutely nothing we haven’t seen before, and Uncharted 4 has almost the exact same plot as the previous 3 Uncharted games, except 80% of the gameplay revolves around climbing, walking aimlessly and listening to dull dialogue. Both are cases of Naughty Dog basking in thier own self indulgence). A game doesn’t have to be revolutionary to be great or even enjoyable. I actually think the Horizon games have an excellent storyline with unique and interesting lore.
…And breathe
I agree. I’m sick of hearing people dump on them for no real reason yet they praise anything and everything that Naughty Dog shits out, like Uncharted 4 was not just a glorified climbing simulator with the exact same story that the other three games had. These games have a brilliant and unique story, satisfying top quality gameplay and a great protagonist in Aloy.
@@drfabulous2804 It's the lore of the Horizon universe that's most interesting. The actual stories that take place in it are usually fairly middling and the open world formula is dated. The Last of Us became extremely popular for its well-crafted story and its excellent characterization. It's that exact same reason now why the TV series is being positively received.
Blame the first game for being overhyped too much. It was a good game, but not a breakthrough. As a result, second game had gotten far less hype. No idea how second one performed though, haven't even watched a walkthrough on it \/(-_-)\/
This has to be the most detailed VR game i’ve EVER seen!
At the same way of Half life alix
The beginning parts are so frustrating.
Ryas: *breathes*
Other characters: fuck that guy.
Never in my life have i seen somone with my name "Ryas", to see it in this is freaking cool
May i ask from what culture your name is and what it means? Its a cool name
@@Ilooovebugs Thank you, I'm from england, but as far as im aware it is a Welsh name. The only thing ive been able to find in relation to its meaning is (Rya, Plural being Ryas, is type of handwoven Scandinavian rug lol
Why didn't the main character change his clothes at any point? It would be like a German trying to sneak through 1940's England while wearing an SS uniform. It might just raise an eyebrow.
If you didn’t feel small next to a Tallneck in the first two games, VR will show you how small you are… 😅
I actually felt bigger watching this 🤣
@@LeJa-ks1vc Fair enough. 😂
I will admit, I was not expect Aloy to actually appear!
If the point of VR is immersion, then I don't know why they just have disembodied hands floating around. That totally breaks the immersion for me.
Anti VR sickness I guess 😕
@@FlorinMotoc Does it make it worse?
Is everyone in Horizon so short or is the Carja just tall? Or is the person playing just tall? Confused.
Probably just the person - because I played the game and everyone was almost the same height as me.
You can set floor height in ps vr2 settings. I keep it very low, others keep it very high; in the end, characters feels shorter/higher than you.
Thanks for your time
Thank you for watching
Yeeaaaaa,new video
29:40 the best part 😂
You already know What i would've drawn
24:26 - Why did it look like he just lost his axe?😆
Because bugs/glitches. This game is full of them.
Playing this game now & WOW! It looks amazing in PSVR2. I cannot wait to see what other games come after this.
Funny to see Asera alive, i killed her at HFW :) and in HFW is a glyph speaking about Itamens Shadow in Barren Light. Great video, sadly i have not VR2 and also no PS 5
What? This game takes place during horizon zero dawn.
@dhaggyyuniversum1121 HFW takes place about 6 months after zero dawn
1:09:03 slap
I can see why people are complaining that Aloy looks too short, though tbf they all looked short in that first cutscene, only made it about half an hour in so far, and in the next cutscene they look taller than before, maybe it was just bad perspective or camera height? That is a problem I've often had in VR games before. I'll have to wait and see if she appears again I guess.
She is 5 ft or 5 ft 3
Amazing
Okay but how did Asera survive that fall? 😮
really like your VR videos because you dont move your head so violently like the others and make viewers sick
Everyone in this game is so unlikeable
Missed opportunity to play as Talanah
Playing with the headset interesting every thing little brighter then on TV and has a slight blurr compare to real life but the vr headset aleast the game is fun in the battles but neck will have pain get a neck messager or work out them neck muscles
I think this game is a tech demo turned into a full game.
Awesome cutsceens
I would love to see a theme park/ ride about the horizon universe
I’ve never heard a thing about this game 😮they should have made it accessible to everyone though and not just for those who play in VR, that’s the main problem with this
Its was kind of the focus of this game it was meant to be played in vr
What is the Bow that Aloy is carrying Called? is it in Zero Dawn and if so how do I find it?
Si así es Horizon en psvr2, necesito esa consola... Solo que es carisimo
Sixteen year old wouldnet Dow that'll work
It's baing fake . What's with fpp . And only hands with no arms showing 😒
It’s a VR game. Those are the traits of a VR game.
yo the tanks actually had TRACKS!!
Thank you for the perfect cut. I enjoyed it. 😊
Best self insert ever
29:42
Why has Urid aged like 15 years
What? We haven’t seen him before.
Mistook him for Uthid? 😂
Im half way through and this is... boring. I don't know why but I just don't care about the story or characters at all.
Because everyone is so unlikeable
agree. The story is the weakest part in otherwise great game. Unlike Horizon Zero Dawn of HFW, there are no "WOW" moments in the story...
They made Aloys face like it was in Zero Dawn, before the "woke" plague destroyed it all and their "beauty" standards which we saw in Forbidden West.
woke plague? imagine being someone who throws around words they clearly don't understand.
