- Well, I was gonna take the day off because it’s Mother’s Day, but I ended up doing a lot of things so I really didn’t take the day off .
but it wasn’t hard labour that’s all I know.

Mama Brooke..I think you need to go back and get the cast-iron chair ..paint it …😎and then put one of those beautiful ferns you bought on it out on the front patio in the corner facing your other two chairs. It would be absolutely stunning or anywhere in your house or around the house on that chair with a fern😎

Admittedly, I Positively love outdoor gardens. I WOULD LOVE TO START MY OWN BUT Iam deathly afraid of Bees. And I live in the woods lol.. and they are everywhere. So Im soooooo afraid to get out there and plant. 😢😢😳😳 Do you ever experience fear with the bugs etc that comes with outdoor gardening? Maybe you can calm some of my fears 🙏🌹🌻💕🌺🌼🌻
No, I can’t say I’m afraid of bees 🐝 at all. I absolutely love them, they don’t bite you unless you attack them to my knowledge in my upstairs terrace. I get tons of bees and butterflies and little critters and they never bother me .
I can say I don’t like mice or rats other then that I’m good . We really need bee and people are killing them. There are pollinators they keep our forest moving and re-generating new life because people are killing it. Don’t be afraid they’re not after you there after your flowers. Unless you’re allergic and get a bit …but other than that, don’t be afraid.🌸🐝🍃🌼🍃🌺🍃🐝🍃🦋

You’re so lucky to have finished menopause. I’m 74 and have been going thru menopause since I was 45. My doctor said some women continue it thru their 80s. It’s so frustrating to still be having night and day sweats, especially 20 min after I get out of shower. I bought myself a cooling blanket which helps a little. I think we women shd be warned before we start having periods.🤪
I started at 40 and was finished by 42 and I’m so lucky . But I see what a lot of women go through. The sad part is the weight gain.

I also collect " sugar shells "& butter knives Brooke I found three sterling silver ones at local Church benevolence room last summer ( ALL FREE STUFF ) HAVE found/ got more cool things fr there last 10 years so ...but have not been since last Thanksgiving I don't need a thing & IM CLEANING OUT MY HOUSE..SO...I'm not getting rid of neat treasures just yuk clothes double stuff receipt s pares boxes , shoesi don't wear clothes!!!..I'm trudging on............ty so much for interesting video loved the trey turned out CUTE

It’s so fun to hang out with you! I hate it when the pollen & flowers bits fall on my new mulch! The weather has been so weird this Spring. Wednesday night the temps dip to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. I’ll have to cover up my ferns. Yours look great in the urns. Have a great week!
It’s been a good spring here lots of rain in April and now 10v at night 23 to 25 cin the day so that is about 50 to 77 f
The ferns can take a lot of cold because mine last until the end of October around Halloween just not frost and we get cold here in Toronto other plants not so much except perennials in another week you should be fine to keep outside over night , fingers crossed. Summer will soon be in full gear . Where do you live ? Are you a summer lover , I am 🥰🌸🍃🌺 love spring summer and fall … don’t like winter at all 🤦🏼♀️
@@mamabrooke We have had lots of rain this Spring, as well. Saturday it rained most of the day, but thankfully Mother’s Day was beautiful. My fern tags say they don’t like it below 55 degrees. I may just put some garden fleece around them. They are hanging on my front porch. I definitely live Summer & not a fan of Winter. This past year we didn’t get any snow, except for a dusting. I’m in northern Virginia.
Well then follow your tag for sure you have a bout another week and then we should be good. I don’t know what part of US 11 but as long as it doesn’t get too cold.🌸🍃🪴

Love the tray project. I got one a couple weeks ago from thrift store here. It was $2.99. They are fun!! Enjoy following your adventures. Im 69 and just put in my tomatoes (16) cucumbers (3) and peppers (6) It took me 2 weeks. We seasoned ladies can get it done, just takes a bit longer. But I try to enjoy every minute and be grateful I can still do it. I share my labors with neighbors and friends and that's fun too. I have a 10 ft fence around my garden area cuz there are upwards of 20 deer a day roaming thru. Have a wonderful trip!! Endeavor to persevere!!

I am enjoying the video. I find when you have to convince yourself to buy something, usually that is an indication that it is not the right choice. I find that overthinking the buy shows that it will be a pass. The prices seem high even where I am in the States. Your rationale is good and at this time in thrifting, you have a keen sense of the worth and what you have to do to put into the project time and money to take it or pass it. The ferns really did enhance the entrance. Nice. Good job.

Have you ever gone in to the Goodwill & everything they newly put out was priced the same? I went in the other day & the price of the day was $5.49 & it was for junk. Dollar tree donations & handmade crafts. Some handmade crafts are nice, but these were not. These looked like the ones I had done😂😂😂. I am a pitiful crafter. I was so pissed because I legit have to drive a distance to go thrifting.

Thats what I am looking for a pillar/stand like that for my geranium. You sound like me, I always say "Do I really need this?? no. Do I like it, ya, but do I have a purpose for it? no. hahahaha I always ask myself will I be sick of it in a month or do I have storage space?
