Chinese Bowhunting Longbow by Deerseeker

  • This reflexed American Semi Longbow is made by Sanding Sports with the Brand Deerseeker. It is inspired by the early ASL American longbows of Howard Hill era with a reflex to counter the string follow.
    They even make 80lb laminated recurve bows now on Amazon.

    Riser- The riser is cut to the center sight window, constructed by Ebony wood, and wrapped with real leather, the arrow rest is well ready for direct bow shooting. Availability for right-handed & left-handed archers.
    Limbs are laminated with layers of bamboo core and sturdy fiberglass materials, the reinforced bow tip supports fast-flight string. Bow length is 64 inches, draw weights range 25 lbs, 35 lbs, 40 lbs, 45 lbs, 50 lbs, 55 lbs, 60 lbs, 65 lbs, 70 lbs.

    I saw this bow on aliexpress and got interested in it but couldnt find any video about it and then some weeks later you show up with it. 😂
    Great video, now I know its a good bow and that it works.

      @@HistoricalWeapons Now model on own Deerseeker site has an up to 70 pound draw of same Outlander ASL model for under $300 before tax. Comes in a Black like you have or a clear fiberglass bamboo limb.

    The tips were much lighter on Howard hills and Fred bears personal and production bows.

      @@xiaotian5863 you are absolutely correct. I’m talking about Fiberglas the synthetic material in question here. If @dingdong would just say Fiberglas there wouldn’t be a problem here but dingdong just love saying synthetic too much.

    Any plans to review the deerseeker H2 Tatar Pro? I see deerseeker offer it in 90lb @28 with a 32 inch max draw length. Be interesting to see a shoot through a chronograph

    I have a question about hornbows:
    Why do they have siyahs to increase leverage but not long handles (think ILF or compound) ?
    It looks to me like it would do a similar job witjout increasing static moving mass.

      Ignore compound bow cuz it’s bending portion does not add weight friction

      Long handle if not bending is not contributing to the draw. Leverage is same

      @@skyrimJava Siyahs do not bend either.
      A longer handle does increase your leverage since it gives you a longer length of rope to pull the same limb. (as proof using a longer riser on an olympic recurve decreases poundage for the same limbs.

    Nice Bow and nice review, Jack! I think this would be a great bow not only for beginners but also for pros. Why spending so much money all the time for a peace of bamboo, fiberglass and a string? LOL Cheers, mate

    Thanks for the review. I just got a bow around that weight. Can you tell me/us about your workout for draw weight? You've pulled some ridiculous draw weight, so you obviously know what you're doing. I'm struggling with my 60-65lbs recurve. Thanks.

      Because China is the centre of manufacturing synthetic products for the early 21st century. However, I think SE Asia will soon take over. Lots of Indonesian bows already they just need to work on shipping routes
