It makes sense why in the flashback to when she'd become the Love Goddess/Queen of Sheba her devoted worshippers turned into a liquid before....well, returning to her. Even way back when, when she'd forgotten who she was even further back when and had adapted to this new idea everyone had of her, water was still part of her identity. She never fully forgot I guess.
Her true power unleashed! . A truly epic scene. It reminds me of the end of the first season, when Ostara breaks free from the control of the new gods. A pity that the series has been canceled. =(
By her colors and this scene, I really belived the writters wanted the Bilquis be the Orisha Oya, but without associating direcly to it. She may forgotten who she was by her interactions with Mankind, since Oya is the one who Leads Wars, one of the most powerfull Orisha, cause she represented the Storm, she was the water in the sky, the air and thunder, and connect all the elements in one. When she says "let the water go back to the begining", may symbolizes the Rain after the Storm, as Rains comes from Rivers and so it must go back to them. Also, Oshun and the others call her Sister, in a way that Oya is one of the River Deitys of Yoruba People ( the other being Nanã, Yemaya and Oshun as well). She also symbolizes War and Female Warriors, which explains Biliquis saying that Cyber Boy never met war like her did, and making him seem the horrors of war. And, nonetheless, in Yoruba, color is very important to their deitys. Yellow is Gold and Honey for Oshun, Blue is the Sea for Yemaya, Magenta for Royalty and Motherhood for Nanã, and Red for Love and War for Oya. Also this series should be award just for the Orishas scenes, for me they really did a great job portraying the Culture and Tradition of African and Yoruba Deities on this season. Especially thinking that, the Orishas never joined the Battle with the Old Gods neither aligned themselfs with the New Gods, they simply live among the ones who still believe in them, the same way that they always been. Because of that, their believe seems strong even in modern days. Also, one the things I noticed, is that the Orishas were never Summoned to America, they were call upon by their people in need (with no ritual), and they never appear in corporeal form (like the other deities), they just appear in the Spirit Form. So may represent that they are not bound to America itself, but, bound to the People.
Of course Mr Nancy knew about this part of her (he knows every story because they all belong to him), he just didn't tell us about this part of the story, the prologue I guess because it wasn't the time to - and what he said about the Queen he was telling the story of could relate to both the story he told and this story here, kings trying to take knock her off her throne, they did it first by changing who she was until she adapted to it and forgot her true past.
@@danielaspallanzani9297 The original song is A Girl's Lament by Robin Hogarth but still no trace of that very arrangment we get to hear in the show... Thats a shame. Lets keep in touch right here, one of us will finally find it eventually >_
Few can understand the power of this

In the final season loki said that gods change or are reborn when man change their story
I lost control of my body and started dancing passionately to this. Seriously I felt it all
for me, this is one of the most epic scenes in TV

This scene from the season is well thought of. The music and the video has something to it.

She seemed much more at peace with her self after this scene.
