Do they sound better than Phantom? Yes Is their CG better? Yes Do the march more than Phantom? Yes Is their show & drill design boring af? Yes Does their music capture you after the opening? No Will their scores suffer in GE? Absolutely Talented group with a so-so shown design.
its actually so dissapointing i tried so hard to like this show but i cant. the opener is pretty cool, then im just bored for 8 minutes. the crown set didnt even wow me i watched the high cam live, i was just thinking about how boring this music sounds
I am not one to jump into the fray like this, but it frustrates me to see a lack of ingenuity in show design with how talented the members are. While I respect the efforts of the design team, I do hope the thematic and visual leaders of this design do not return next season.
@@crownsop06 Uh, there's actually ingenuity in some original staging concepts here, but the scenes they created lack focus, logic, sequence and storyboarding.
I don't know if it's intentional but Crown has always dropped their new Crown formation at the Murfreesboro show, or at least the Middle Tennessee show when it's at nashville. I love getting to see the crown set before anybody else, I'm so lucky
@@prestonjones20013seeing as they're basically wearing old crown uniforms, you're not wrong. Maybe that's why I haven't liked them too much the last few seasons. Was never really a crown fan.
i dislike how they changed from a Eb to Bb to chord in their final set, it set them apart, ironically how they always finish in a Bb, like i get it’s their thing, but switch it up ya know.

Mello lick at the end 🙌🏻
I swear that and the crown set are essential to their shows
Carolina Crown making crowning formations as it's tradition

Camelot was such an awesome show and they've tried and failed to replicate it this year

I actually like the closer music at the half time part. But they removed the ending music 😭
Phenomenal performance!👏👏

Go Crown!!!!!
Fire the drill writer. These kids and the audience deserve better.
why? im just wondering
they need a whole new show design team their old one left them after 2016 and it just has not been the same since then

I don’t know why it took them so long to complete the closer, they’re so far behind other corps at this point just in terms of experience
it’s been like this every year since at least 2014 for crown
They remind me of my high school bsnd with all these dang flags 😢

There were chains
My back is more uniform that that (I have scoliosis)
That’s the first time they added in the crown this season. They’ll clean it up
What’s happening at Crown? They don’t look or sound like their usual self. Lots of fuzz still visually and in the brass
I agree, it’s kinda sad
tbf this has not been what the closer has been all season. Literally just made the change…which is certainly a decision to make this late in the game
