I need to clarify something about me "recommending" this. This was the LAST mod recommend on a 10 mod long list and I recommend it with MANY a caveat about it being dated and "questionably offensive".
Vinny just decided it was top priority. Not my fault.
Dated and questionably offensive is the best kind of mod, what are you trying to say?
I spent like 10 minutes trying to come up with something clever, comparing the "questionably offensive" thing to the whole crate genocide stream, but I couldn't come up with anything good.
this was still better quality than the average sunday stream game
Alright cratecist man
Vinny automatically gravitates towards crust.
I can NOT believe that the mod creator put a copyrighted song in game, it's like they have no respect for people playing this on RUclips over 20 years later or something!
This needs a remake in the Source 2 engine so we can play this in Half Life Alyx.
Gordon doesn’t need to HEEar all this he’s a HAWly trained professional
Alright Gordon, your boots should keep you comfortable through all this.
the instakill winchester native americans were actually real
was a huge problem back then
yeah the uh, the patch that fixed that wasn't very good for them :/
Crow nation do be outgunning the Union army tho
@@Pigness7 I almost spat out my coffee
53:50 Funny story about native american languages in cowboy movies and such, Often times the native actors would say words in their language to play up the whole thing and look "Accurate" but when actually translated, it was just the natives slinging insults without any of the filmmakers knowing
Unfortunately I don't know my own language, growing up off the native reservation and kind of losing touch with my heritage, so part of me wonders if these voice clips could possibly be insults if they were sampled from old movies lmfao
Yeah that checks out lmao
If you grew up on the reserve you'd be an alcoholic and cigarette addicted poor person. Be happy the native "chiefs" didn't corrupt and ruin your life with tall tales of noble savagery.
@@Bourikii2992 are you native?
A Fistful of Crust
Vinny's Seth Rogan gets more and more constipated as it comes up
Replicating Seth's current state of having his head up his ass
I'm really happy we get to keep hearing this crusty middle aged man be crusty. (I posted this before I heard him say Crust about 10 times at the start)
@@brandonandujar2289 underrated comment
Somehow, his Arthur Morgan impression is _also_ slowly dying of consumption.
1:10 He looks like the Wild West Ancestor of Max Payne, same holding-in-a-fat-one Expression
4:11 Lamp oil, rope, bombs? You want it? It's yours, my friend! As long as you have enough Rubees!
12:08
Vinny: "I can't believe this."
Self-aware NPC: "What? What is it?"
I can't unhear the 'Price is Right' fail sound from the bows now.
It's genuinely shocking how charming the writing and voice acting are for a mod released in 2000.
EDIT: I just got to the British Native American, nevermind LMAO
POV: You are an NPC in a halflife mod.
>Vinny accidentally kills you
>Vinny accidentally saves over your death
:(
"damn, there's a waterfall"
*dies*
"yes."
The lever-action Winchester rifle is one of my favorites. It originated from a rifle designed or released in 1860 called the Henry rifle. They reiterated it a few times over the next few decades, but the 1866 Winchester rifle is the coolest looking one in my opinion, since they were still using gunmetal to house the mechanism.
Forgotten Weapons has a short series covering the history on all the iterations and the original Henry gun that I highly recommend if you're interested in old west history.
**crane with obvious hook and even more obvious up and down motion, protruding from the outer wall of the town**
Vinny, with full sincerity in his voice:
"... The Hangman's Noose."
Vinny really actually blind, might need to check eyes.
boy those 20 minutes of "uh oh, there might be stereotypical indians in this 2000 half life mod!" sure were quality entertainment.
Holy shit those chicken sound effects have me in tears
“I mean it happened”
*Murdered by a Native American wielding a double-barrel shotgun*
“Oh my god, but did it happen like that?”
Vinny's lack of spatial awareness is driving me up a wall.
I can understand the thing where it's Y2K and as a FPS-modding gamer your only frame of reference for native americans is Turok so of course you give them firepower that can vaporize a human being
but the chickens? How does THAT happen
Can't seem to find it now, but there's an interesting interview with one of the guys behind "Maverick Developments" who did this, the 'Redemption' mod (probably most famous for the carnival level), and the training mission for CS Retail. Apparently this was originally intended as a Quake 1 mod, which is why the textures are so aggressively brown.
They worked on training simulations using the HL engine for a bit but didn't develop anything after that.
meet me halfway arthur
37:18 made me laugh so hard I nearly passed out. I'm not sure why that was so funny, just the rapid fire footstep sound and the classic Half Life geometry shenanigans. "Ground stuck! Ground stuck!! Please!! I beg you!!!"
You ever do a Seth Rogen impression so hard you forget what you're doing?
"YEAH WHEN I SMOKED A TON OF WEED HEUGHHEUGHEHUGHEUGH"
The multiplayer of this mod was amazing
7:09 Actual audio of Seth Rogan puking a furball on to the carpet.
Community gotta make the multiplayer of this come to life again, it's really fun
some Sven Co-op servers have the option to choose it
It's actually a great mod.
The great grandad of Fistful of Frags.
*FLEENSTONES?!?!?!?!*
hmm, red dead looks crustier than I remember
love how Vinny and Jolly react exactly the same when exposition text disappears too quickly for them to read
jolly who
@@lukabrasi001 Jolly Wangcore, it is a youtuber that makes gameplay of half-life 1 and 2 mods.
@@lukabrasi001 Jolly Nuts
Recommended by Jolly, what a chad move
YES
cmon, I want a Joly and Vinny collab!!!
Jolly knows his Half-Life mods.
Am I the only one who instantly recognized the chickens clucking from Dungeon Keeper? The Bullfrog game, I do know it's full-on forgotten so I felt necessary to clarify it's not some porno.
Why did your brain go to porno, it's called Dungeon... oh.
The Good, The Bad an the Vinny.
1:01:46 "You do not use strange magic you do not understand!" Toy Indian after watching darth vader fight a T-Rex
yesss omg I been waiting for you to play this for so long! this is my favorite single player half life mod hands down!!
The meat truck was local news for me but I heard about it from Vinny whomst lives on the other side of the world. I googled it and found out that it has happened more than once
There’s something about this mod I enjoy, mostly the way it looks. Reminds me of something Vinny would play around 2013-14.
24:14-24:32
Alright then, keep your secrets
man i’ll watch vinny play ANY half life mod. peak cozy videos
Damn, that was one of the very first mods I played for HL back in the day. It's hard as fuck.
Ponder this. In a few short years, this mod will be a quarter of a century old.
i live in australia and can't find anything on the internet about this truck crash
i wonder how deep this rabbit hole goes
Lol i been looking all over for this just for the impressions
Ohhhh a vinesauce classic. I missed those silly mods.
in a couple of years we will see someone be like "Yo, remember NFTs?" and everyones gonna laugh, remembering what a shitty attempt at a cryptocurrency is was
keep rootin' .... keep tootin' .... by Good be shootin' ... but most importantly ... SPEEN
I used to love this mod. I remember the multiplayer having you steal chickens lmao.
Oh my god that's right, THIS is where I remember the chicken sound from, it just hit me so hard and I definitely didn't play the singleplayer of this mod.
@@Lexsed Not from Counter-Strike's Italy map?
@@RainingMetal Nah it was definitely this, I remember holding the chicken and it being ridiculously funny as a kid of all the sounds it made. Then the wonky dynamite animation brought it back
I think they got that from Lucasarts' Outlaws, there was a CTF mode but with chickens instead of flags
"Cry Macho" is so much better when you know that Macho is the name of the Clint Eastwood character's pet chicken
Weird, I've been on a HL1/2 mod kick lately. This fits.
This mod was included in some Half-Life pack-ins alongside Counter-Strike and They Hunger. I think I may have played it briefly, but I can't remember. It looked kinda neat.
Sorry if there's a double post, not seeing a comment that had external links posted (youtube does this a lot it seems).
You might find Master Sword interesting. It's been added to drastically since I last played it way back, so I'm not sure how it is now, but it's an rpg mod with the option of playing with friends. There's been an insane amount of work done to it. Due to its rpg nature it might be too slow to stream, I don't remember how the pacing is since its been so long. I would check it out first rather than going in blind, if at all. Some of the music is great, just checking out: Master Sword: Continued - The Secret Isle
John Black is a character from Age of Empires 3. I think the character here is probably brother of Nathaniel Black.
*Vinny, looking at a freight hook* "Ah the hangman's noose"
NFTs are the Name-a-Star of the 2020s. Let's hope it shares the same success.
Oh man, thank you for the history lesson on cowboys. The boys at the museum are gonna love my newfound knowledge.
damn there's a waterfall
this, as well as firearms, were bundled on the original retail cd for counter strike 1.0 (then titled half life: counter strike). firearms is another mod definitely worth playing
Vinny please do more arthur impressions thx
Just watch all 30 red dead 2 streams
Is Vinny going on a Half-Life mod rampage or something?
Play Resident Evil 2: Source, it'll be funny.
You can poke fun of the horrendous main hall water maiden statue that's been a placeholder for a hundred years now.
He could even play the L4D2 or Gmod Editions with friends, they're on the Steam Workshop.
Also, Wanted! is one of my favorite HL1 mods. Classic.
Damn use to play this MP on lan partys back in the days XD
5:53 What's TFC class selection menu doing here?
I think this mod came with my half life platinum disc back then. Hella fun
God I remember playing the hell out of this mod's multiplayer because it has working bots and it was great!
And I'm a cowboi
ON A STEEL HORSE I RIDE
I'm a gulch.
Legit thought during his shitty Dutch impression at the beginning, "who the hell is that supposed to be?"
The Seth Rogen remains undefeated, though
rdr3 looking stanky
Who would make swimming and underwater noises sound like farting under water and think: that is perfect. Then how come Vin does not hear farts like i do?
in the opening Vinny sounded like the grandpa from the ridiculous Mr. Pickles adult swim show
Crusty early 2000's mods are the best.
THE JOLLYWANGCORE asked you to play this!?
'Strayan in awesome! I would love you and him to collab on some geam! you both love Half-Life!
Bonyot, blease, play shuut with Jollie!
How come my game doesn't have the crosshair?
Early Pass the Whiskey simulator
HORSE QUOTA: MET
Does anyone remember that weird & dreamy food delivery game Vinny played? I’ve been looking for the stream but can’t remember the name. EDIT: Nvm if found it, tales from off-peak city, why’d I think that was recorded like 3 years ago?
Arthur is going through cowboy puberty.
Why is the player model shooting slightly to the left
yeeahw
Pass the whiskey?
Damn, there’s a waterfall!
well, 45:30 gets me every damn time.
inb4 someone finds a way to send Vinny an actual Winchester
damn, there's a waterfall
damn, there's a waterfall
if you told me this was a fallout 3 mod running at low settings it might be belivable.
New Vegas Life looking good
I had this on a pre 1.6 retail Counter-Strike CD. It came with a ton of other mods.
Vest level: fifteen percent
mighty fine leather poncho there feller, 45-70 rounds acquired pardner
Do you think the chickens were voiced by a person?
I thought Vinny was choking but then I realized it was just a Seth Rogan impression
Gunman Chronicles
I saw that Australian spill video.
not sure about the city but I'm pretty sure winchester rifles are legal to have in NY state
I don't think this game takes place in NY.
Pyrite is alright with meeee
Seth rogan starting to get a little into the muscle man RS's voice now.
Pass the whiskey
Lamp oil

You want it? It's yours partner
Red Dead Redemption 3 looks great!
I feel Vine should check out the 1997 lucas arts shooter Outlaws. Super challenging, great music, cutscenes and Q from TNG does some VA work in it.
