Why is it upsetting people that black and Hispanic children are being represented in books? Schools have had picture books of white faces all these years. We are not the only people who exist. There is a difference between putting books of people of color and books on sexuality. Having books with people of color doesn't mean that the children are being groomed. Please remember that . I think people are getting the wrong perception of these books this is NOT about LGBT.
It’s upsetting to them when someone of a different color wants to be proud of themselves and their ancestry. Basically it’s just racists crying about equality as they usually do. They’d be pretty upset about what’s in those books if they could read!
I'm Hispanic, there is nothing wrong with books with diversity. But forcing everything to be about skin color and going back to teaching kids to hyper focus on their skin color, causing then to hyper focus on others skin color is going backwards. People are not their skin. ...And no grade school kids to do not in anyway need books about sexuality wtf is happening.
I’ll tell him where he can put those books….and it’s not going to be on the shelves of these schools. Low-income schools needs supplies and meals, not propaganda.
As long as it's not CRT or Grooming, I'm okay with it.
And how would you know if the book is teaching CRT? Or Grooming kids?

Is it propaganda to want representation in books? It’s just more about equality and self acceptance.
