As with anything, if you don’t use, you lose it. If you don’t allow your prostate gland and your testes to operate normally every now and again they will go bad…especially if you are genetically prone to prostate cancer. The lipids from re-absorbed sperm are not good for your arteries or heart.

I fail to see how indulging in fleeting pleasures is incompatible with seeking fulfillment. What about taking pleasure in a delicious meal? Should one confine oneself to food that is nourishing but flavorless?

It Depends on what the “fleeting pleasure” is, it can leave a positive impact on your day and won’t make you feel pain and empty like enjoying a great meal you will feel good about that meal later on when you look in the mirror…BUT that “fleeting pleasure” that you do that leaves pain and emptiness when you look in the mirror afterwards must be stopped.

@@Mrleadthefield I have often indulged in that "fleeting pleasure" and it never left pain and emptiness when I looked in the mirror afterwards. It's too bad people have to go out of their way to demonize harmless things and innocent people. It's often, but not necessarily, done in the name of religion.

@@angreagachits not “harmless” when it leaves you(not you personally)feeling empty even from the person the story is talking about it. It didn’t make him FEEL good. Doesn’t matter if it’s often or just rarely…if it doesn’t make you feel “good” in your soul but it feels good just physically then it is something that is destructive mentally and emotionally and eventually physically because pain and emptiness comes from those other things not being properly aligned…You have to feed your MIND,BODY,AND SOUL Has nothing to do with religion. It All has to do with that person.

@@Mrleadthefield He probably feels empty because he's been brainwashed into thinking he ought to. It never made me feel empty or "improperly aligned." I don't think we are going to agree about this, so let's just "agree to disagree."
