0:37 I actually prefer this version's line over the final game, because it actually syncs up with the animation here. In the final game, not only does the original animation being redubbed result in his mouth not matching what he says, but it also results in the animation suddenly stopping mid-scene (a problem that occurs a lot in several of the game's cutscenes).

the echo-less bowser laugh was also left in the french cutscenes unaltered from the english beta version. I hope you will find a good ROM dumper capable of preserving this game (Gotta call Luigiblood for that, he's quite experienced with the CD-I games in general. just gently ask him if he can make some animated .gif rips of these cutscenes too).

Unfortunately my CDi console's Save functionality doesn't work (the internal battery is long-dead) so I have to play through the entire game in sequence to reach new levels/content.
