You definately have the best theme park vlogs! Universal Studios Hollywood is my favorite theme park. Better than Orlando. A lot of people would disagree but keep in mind Hollywood is all about the shows and films. Going back and to horror nights thursday can't wait to return here.
I'm a big fan of the Jurassic Park ride - and that's coming from someone who hasn't even been there. It just looks so damn impressive! Having a blast watching those vlogs as always!

Living in SoCal, I've certainly been to Universal many times. I first went in 2002. But I'm sorry that you guys don't get to experience two of the best attractions in the park: T-2 3D Battle Across Time & Back to the Future the ride!! They're both long since closed down and ancient now. The BTTF ride went first, in 2007, followed by T-2 3D in 2012. Those were classics. I even loved the original King Kong sound stage on the studio tour. Which, sadly, was destroyed in a fire. I haven't been to Universal in years, so I still need to see the new K-K in person. Other classics that are gone include: Backdraft (similar to Twister r-i-o), Special Effects sound stages show, E.T. Adventure, Wild West Stunt Show, Animal Planet Live!, Lucille Ball tribute, Blue Brother's concert, collapsing bridge on the studio tour, etc.
So glad to see the gang finally arriving in California. It seems like I've been waiting for about a year for you guys too make it out to the West Coast of the US. I've been both excited and curious to see your take on the parks that I grew up with. Whether it would be appreciated by you or translate well. You seemed to enjoy it more than I imagined, which puts a big smile on my face. It amazes me how many Brits I encounter that don't even realise that LA has theme parks. People that think Florida's Magic Kingdom is the original Disney entity having no clue that the original park in California even exists. As you can see only having visited a fraction of what California has to offer, most of us California-bred people never leave because we have everything there at our doorstep. Fortunately, I enjoy traveling so I've seen much more than my friends and peers. The UK has it's charming places, too. Nothing compares to Nemesis. Even Oakwood, Flamingo Land, and Lightwater Valley can be a real fun day out. I find it difficult to beat California. It has so much to offer. I used to hang out at Universal all the time. We went to movie premieres up there all the time. I've watched the place evolve over the years from just having four shows and a 3 hour tram tour--it used to have a lot more to it than it does now, to the mecca it is today. From small crowds-sometimes tiny, to where it can get hugely over crowded today. A place with an amazing history. Again, inspired partially by the success of Disneyland. Disneyland being partially inspired by Knott's. The park used to be tiny. The entire lower level was part of the tram tour but it didn't have any attractions. It had a show where the tram would stop and let you off. It's grown quite quickly into what it is today. Citiwalk began as just the worlds largest cinema when it opened in the late 80's. No shops or restaurants. Far away from the entrance of on it's own. It's expanded over and over agin through the last few decades. We can't wait to see what the big fuss over the Harry Potter themed areas is all about.

I'm going out to California in September this year (from the Midlands in the UK) for 2 weeks to drive down (in a Mustang convertible) from San Francisco, to LA, then inland to Las Vegas. We'll be going to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday 10th September, followed by Universal Studios Hollywood on the Sunday. Have just watched this and your MM Vlogs so I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks!
+Euan Weddell yeah they are but at like Blackpool and Thorpe park they're usually grumpy. At Alton towers though we met this really nice staff member and we were discussing loads of rollercoasters.
I have heard that the only difference between Hollywood and Orlando's Hogsmeads are that Hollywood does not have a Dragon Challenge, but I am sure that Hollywood's version will still be amazing!

Universal Studios was an amazing park. I went one day for the park and the next day for Halloween Horror Nights and I was not disappointed, I would say it's a must visit park if you're in the Southern California area.

I remember when my mom was walking away from my aunt and my aunt shouted out her name out loud ( such is Amber ) and these people were in a building and there heads were sticking out of the windows and they said amber , keep an eye on her lol it was soo funny

i will be going to universal orlando in a few weeks =] few things i loved about this vlog the interaction with visitors with the jurassic park area with the raptor that was nice and cool with the studio tour i would like to go on it as it seems very cool but 40-50 mins is too long for me tbh the despicable me was funny just a good park i dont see how it will take 2 days to do the entire park when you basically did everything in 1 day.... unless it has 2 parks then i take that back
