I think a lot of people miss the point with these quick access safes. In many cases, the intent is not to protect against a determined thief. It's to keep sticky fingers or children from grabbing/accessing them. If my niece or nephews start manipulating a flathead and hammer to open a safe I've got more issues than a quick access safe.
For me, this is an option to have a gun on the porch when we're swimming. I'll be within eyesight but not immediately next to it and quick seconds can be disasterous with any dangerous tools including firearms. I'm not leaving a gun in it when I'm away.

I considered getting the smaller Maxsafe in this vid but the door lid looks a bit thin imo. I went with another brand with a thicker gauge lid. The biometric reader on the Maxsafes, however, are probably the best performing ones out in the market. 👌🏼
