Thank you! this was an absolutely incredible video. I am planning to book a flight to Vietnam and I have a long layover in Hong Kong. This was so helpful. But what was even more incredible was your amazing smile. You just exuberate happiness all over this video.😊🥰
I‘ll have a layover in HK as well to fly to Saigon but I‘m a bit afraid bc it‘ll be one day before Chinese New year begins 🫣😍 I hope 9 hours will be enough 😂
yeah getting anxiety attack, just traveling is problematic I'll stay in the airport for 11 hrs lmao to think about the exchange the getting lost and what could go wrong :D
Hi! Glad it was helpful! Transport in the city itself (MTR, Bus, Tram) is very affordable with just a few Hong Kong dollars. The peak tram is a tourist attraction so it is more expensive and the train to the city is also a bit more expensive. I am not exactly sure how much it was in total but I think around ~$ 40 USD, which can be cut down if you don't do the peak tram.
The check in luggage was transferred directly to the next plane, since I flew with the same airline further. However, if you have to take out your luggage and then check-in again, you can store it at the same place where I stored my backpack.
I’d recommend to get one, so you know how to navigate and where to go or adjust your schedule if needed. You can get an eSIM for the day. Super easy to install and I have a referral code for a discount for you on my site ritalovestravel.com
We have a 9hr lay over there this coming January so thank you for this video!

Hi. Thank you very informative. How much did it cost for all the transport you used for the layover?

Did you take your check In luggage or not anymore ?

Hi.. for 10hr layover to complete your itinerary how much hkd should i carry?
I’d not recommend to take out cash for such a short time and just pay by card.
What about 7 hour layover? Is it possible?
I think so! Just cut out some things from the itinerary and you will make it back on time!
