- This was the music that played in the station of Great American Scream Machine until it was torn down in 2010. Arrow Dynamics built this looper for Six Flags Great Adventure, where it operated for 21 years.

@@twistedcheese1 You clearly have memory loss from the head banging because Arrows are uncomfortable, one of the only Arrows that didn't beat me up was Gemini and that's cause I found the magic seat and it never really did anything in terms of elements. While Magnum-XL200 right next to it was one of my least favourite roller coasters of all time
@@coastaku1954 no I seriously dont. They're not as bad as people make out. I was bracing myself for Viper at SFMM and I found it smoother than a modern ride such as the smiler and the the original hulk. Shocking I know

@@coastaku1954 you are correct but that makes them more exciting and out of control (most of the time) what rough roller coasters have you ridden because I suppose if you grew up riding B&Ms youll think that a tiny rattle is something rough and vise versa
It's really sad that this coaster no longer exists. It was the first Arrow Looper I've been on. It was 2010 when I rode it, just weeks before it closed.

Back in 1999, I remember thinking about the days of the week when I saw the Great American Scream Machine for the first time as a kid. LOL Each loop had represented each day of the week (in my 8 year old mind).

It's real sad this coaster was demolished. Shame too, because the station music was badass!

They got rid of it because nobody was riding it anymore. It was WAY too rough because the company that built and designed it, Arrow, refused to advance with the times and design their rides using computers. That’s why they went out of business. They were by far the biggest and most successful amusement ride manufacturer in the world until the early 90s when then their competitors started improving their rides exponentially. A decade later it was a wrap. The company was over.
@@Asshat237 And the only designer they had with any sense, Alan Schilke, left and became the head designer for RMC. He designed Road Runner Express at Fiesta Texas, Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood, and X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain, ever other coaster was designed by Ron Toomer with a piece of wire
They should use this on Green Lantern and make it worth riding.
Over Georgia should use this music for their still operating wooden coaster that’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year that has the same name as this defunct Great Adventure classic.
I really wished that Rolling Thunder and The Great American Scream Machine stayed. :(

If you look closely, in the background of this image, you can see Batman and Robin: The Chiller in the background. That ride is now gone.. and so is this ride...

I never went on this ride (that was because I first went to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2014 and I never knew this was a thing until 2019), but I thought the people liked it before it got torn down in 2010.

It's about a confrontation between the DCAU versions of Superman and Brainiac. Justice League Unlimited had ended round this time, so it was fresh in my mind, and I thought an epic battle was perfect for such an epic song.
