As a person who middle name is James ! You make me proud to have that name we James get it done !! Do a video of all 12 trucks running! Thanks for sharing great way to head into 2024 !!🎉🎉🎉
Soon I will have to work on my own Cummins, she’s 11 ltr baby one, 420hp. Sounds good with the straight pipe keep that on the DL don’t want DOT stopping me, it’s frowned upon over here in the UK 😂
My Truck I call Big Bird has a Detriot S60 in it, has plenty of blow by too LOL still runs great, works a few days a week too 😂 that ole Ford will be fine…
Listening to the Holset whistle on an 855 Cummins….how sweet it is! The old Ford’s coming around….this Aeromax might be FULLY roadworthy before “Fiona”?
Are you OK you did not look like you was feeling to good Brother the Motor sounded real good good did I hear you say the DOT shut you down in a Gravel truck that was bad bro and good Job getting all of the trucks running keep up the hard work you are doing a fantastic job on them Safe travel on the airplane Captain
@@JamesPretty That is good I was worried about you Brother I could see it in your eyes you was tired keep strong safe traveled on the airplane Captain and get some rest bro
Great vidja as always Jessica and James 👍. Got a 93 Western star to pull my race car with. Was sitting about 9 years used some of your tricks to get it going again. 💪💪💪💪
sounds good. fingers crossed the blowby is acceptable at operating temp. it is what it is. considering it was put together with parts from so many different broken engines, i think its a success.
Hi James, sounds really good. Guess that surge did go away. Just when you get new pieces for the welder nothing to weld. You’ll find more fabrication to do tho. Always wonder how they get some of those exhaust pipes in when you look at them. Looks like she’s getting closer to driving. Stay safe
@@JamesPretty Agree it’s getting closer everyday. Be sweet to see it going on its own. It’s neat how when putting trucks back together you almost always find hoses or wires you aren’t sure where they go. Have a good one
The angle of inline 6-cylinder engines in the Ford L-series looks weird. Guess the only way to fit one into the available space is to tilt it. Chrysler did a similar thing with the Slant-6 engine, purposely built with the cylinder walls slanted so as to fit under the hood of their somewhat smaller cars of the early 1960's. Almost looks like when Ford designed the L-series they were thinking only about V-8 engines for the L-series. Your overhauled engine does sound strong.
Shes running good, if anything was gonna go wrong it would have done it when you first fired it up, blowby dont really mean anything, shes gonna be a good runner. Those engines are bulletproof
James, is it me, or does that engine lean to the right? I bought a brand new welder a bit over 3 years ago. That welder is still brand new, I have never learnt to weld. I might have to donate it to somewhere, where it will be used. Cheers Buddy.
James 11 should be a driver soon. Looks good.
would have been today but the Rear end Yoke was the wrong one trying to source one now.
Grats on all the beautiful working machinery.
Thanks Richard

Ya it will be likely. Fiona is missing some parts that are hard to find
@@JamesPretty what precisely are you needing? Is it/are they year-specific?
@@bowslap cab airbags multiple
Interior parts headlight panels and lower grill

That's the plan!
Hi James, hey guy you should have wrapped tape around the exhaust pipe to cut it straight 🤔
omg after I cut it I was like damn I know better than to free wheel it.. lol you're absolutely right
Hi James. Good luck.

Top of the morning to y'all brother
Hi bro
Glad the motor works. Why does it look like the top half of the motor is slanted?
They sit in there slanted to fit under the cab
That turbo sounds good 👍
It really does
@@JamesPretty I’m happy to see that you have 12 running trucks merry Christmas my friend

I 100% believe they did it for room for the drivers feet to be comfortable but its a horrid design and unappealing

It’s a weird design. It leans over to the drinker side to fit under the cab. Crazy ford design
Only a pilot would refer to truck exhaust as "EGT"....lol
hahaha tru tru
Hi James so how many trucks do you have total+ the F L D that you just bought? Because honestly I lost count lol
I have 13 trucks currently.. maybe 15 depending
Belle vidéo 👌 😉. Sacré moteur 👍
Thanks Alain
@@JamesPretty 😉 👍 🚛 🚛
Sounds good!!! Is that 400 or a 350??
its a 365 actually but I don't know what this pump is off of..
Good morning
morning bro
That engine sounds good
I got a question james, im getting ready to pull an l10 cummins from ford Lnt9000 with 855 motor, would motor mounts needs to be drilled in back?
hmm im not 100% sure.. is there a reason for the L10 or just something you already have laying around? the 855 is a better choice in my humble opinion
The l10 is pretty much worn out, got a good deal on 350hp small cam cummins. So I was curious
That mother sit in there crooked ? Gotta love how ford does stuff
Yep
Leaned over to the right
What's up James
Sup
That old girl sounds !
Appreciate ya brother
Is it me or is that engine a little crooked?
Yep by design
Did you win blue collar?
No idea who won yet
Winning blue collar would be epic. I'd love to see it on another RUclips channel. It would look pretty good in your fleet.
Being tilted is throwing me off
believe me. its throwing me off too.. its my first time with an L9000 I didn't realize it was in there like that before working on this one.
Been watching a while, but what are your intentions for these babies? Like the rest of us truck nuts, you sure hate money lol!
Hahaha for sure bro. Well I’m wanting to get them back to work either for myself or someone else or sell a few to someone that wants a good old truck.
@@JamesPretty that’s cool. I just went through an 86 eagle and had it ready to work and then sold it. Old trucks are the best.
i don't know much, but the engine looks from the front to be at an angle.? 37:20/42:10👈👺👀but its getting the job done though.? 👈😒👍
yes they lean to the passenger side in the L9000 by design 1/3 of the engine sits under the cab
Supr🖐️👏👍🥰
Hello Bro thanks for being here.
The engine is kinda not sitting straight.
they lean to the passenger side on the L9000 because 1/3 of the engine is under the cab
Is the motor cock eyeied
Yes by design
