Just for the record: Batman has always said his only superpower is he's rich, but he is a lot more then that. To show comparison through Marvel...Think of the strength, & agility of Captain America (While Steve became a Super soldier with a super serum, Bruce did it with just pure hard work from child), and the extreme brain of Tony Starks (Is the greatest strategist of any superhero DC or Marvel). He can bench over 1000 pounds, move like top Gymnast, and finally with his extreme training in every fighting discipline ever created on earth, he is one of the greatest, most complete fighters of anyone in DC or Marvel.
Bruce is more like Earth-616 Captain America who is at the peak of human potential. MCU Captain America is straight up superhuman in all of his abilities.
Zack Synder Justice League is an amazing movie. My favorite scenes were the best moments. Darkseid was the best villain. Martian Manhunter was badass. Cyborg's origin is finally revealed. Superman meets Alfred. Justice League were assembled to defeat Parademons. Superman looks amazing in his black suit. Batman had a vision where Mera, Deathstroke, Flash, Cyborg, and the Joker were going to fight Superman. Batman woke up and he meets Martian Manhunter. Zack Synder Justice League was better than Justice League 2017.
Always enjoy people’s first time reactions to this masterpiece, this is what a movie can look like when a studio lets a director realize his vision, this is easily one of the best comic book movies ever. Will always hate that the story was never allowed to have its conclusion

You might have seen the 2011 Ryan Reynolds movie Green Lantern, which sadly flopped. He played the first human Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and Jordan was one of the founding members of the Justice League. Most younger people know GL as John Stewert from the Justice League animated series. Then there is Guy Gardner who is in the new Superman movie coming this summer. If you saw the trailers, Nathan Fillion plays him with the blondish-red bowl haircut.
Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg was a high school football player who got in a car accident as a passenger. His father worked at Star Labs. A cutting edge tech facility. He refused to let his son die so he fitted him with cybernetic implants. This gave him enhanced strength, durability and reflexes. He could also tap into any computer network. He had a bionic eye giving him advanced vision. In the DCEU (DC Expanded Universe) they had Cyborg's father use the advanced technology of the Mother Box from Apokolips to transform Victor That's not Doomsday. It's Steppenwolf. An agent of Darkseid. Darkseid is basically DC's version of Thanos. The three Mother Boxes their equivalent of the Infinity Stones. The three Mother Boxes combined can cause mass destruction or mass creation depending on who has possession of them. Darkseid seeks dominion over all. He has vast armies of parademons as well as his followers like Desaad, Glorious Godfrey and Granny Goodness as well as Steppenwolf. He seeks the anti-life equation to give him unlimited power to conquer other worlds. Darkseid and the Fourth World characters like Mr. Miracle, Oberon and Big Barda were created by writer/artist Jack Kirby. He became disenchanted with Marvel and went over to the competition DC. 😢 Cyborg originally was a part of the New Teen Titans created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Perez. Alongside Robin (Dick Grayson) who later changed his name to Nightwing, Starfire an alien princess with energy based powers, Changeling formerly known as Beast Boy - a shapechanger and Raven a mystic. The Teen Titans started out as a team of all the heroes sidekicks. Robin (Batman), Aqualad (Aquaman), Speedy (Green Arrow), Kid Flash (The Flash), Wonder Girl (Wonder Woman), etc.
One of my favorite parts is the fight between the ancient defenders of Earth and Darkseid, seeing the gods, Amazons, Atlanteans, humans and a green lantern fight together was great, one of the best things about this movie

I completely adored what Snyder has created. It was levels above. The storyline elements that were adopted from the comics were clever and heart-wrenching. Shoutout to the fans that helped get this cut released. If WB execs weren't so consumed with competing with Disney, we could've gotten the entire DCEU story told correctly.
he took too long to get where he was going. he stretched single character arcs across multiple movies. you can tie in character arcs between movies but when you make a single arc span multiple movies you lose the audience and the first movies leave general audiences unsatisfied. he tried to do ahalf dozen movie long arc to get superman to be the character we know. it was too long and having him snap zod's neck in front of kids was frankly so out of character it made it hard to see the possibility of him becoming the superman we know. i think it would have provided some great moments if instead of snapping it the family was killed before zod passed out and zod was captured. dealing with the aftermath of the consequences of that choice could have lead to some interesting ideas and a similar situation in the 2nd movie he could choose to kill to save people and deal with the consequences of that and had the 3rd be him realizing which one the world needs from him. how to inspire and lead by example and what is better. but having him do that in the first movie, and the disregard for the overall damage they are doing. no indication of trying to move zod out of the city at any point. superman was not there in that fight.
Bruce revealed not to be Superman under that arctic gear. That just reminds me that Ben Afleck was technically Superman in another movie (Hollywoodland, as George Reeves).
Part 1: It was so heartbreaking and comforting at the same time when we found the actress of the single mom character and the eviction scene asking on twitter the day ZSJL came out if her scene made it to the SnyderCut 😭 since they cut it out from the Joss whedon Cut, one of the most touching scenes and they deleted, they actually cut some characters from that Frankenstein, they cut her out, cyborg’s mom, cyborg storyline, the General, Ryan Choi… kind of weird right? Remember those racism accusations? Well This doesn’t look good for them. Oh we really went through hell for almost 4 years to bring the original cut to the public eye but all this justice made it completely worth it. Thank God for that 🙌. It’s funny I don’t remember haters complaining about the slow mo in WW or in even every f movie that use it, that people just hate Snyder.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that, way before the theatrical release, the original idea for Justice League was to release a mini series of 6 episodes (about 40 mins each). Then WB changed its mind and went for a 2 parts fully fledged movies and then changed again to a single movie of about 2 hours, cutting out a metric ton of scenes from the original idea. Then, during the shooting, the worst happened to the Snyder family and the rest is history.
As far as I remember No, JL was always supposed to be 2 movies, the idea of it being a mini series was for the Snyder cut for being 4h long, even an intro was created but at the end Warner said no so they released it as a 4h movie.

One of the BIG changes for the Snyder cut was the attack at the beginning that Wonder Woman foiled. The introduction was CONSIDERABLY extended. That alien dude in green is a Green Lantern, sort of an Interstellar Police Force, with a single Lantern covering an entire sector of space, but able to call in others if needed. When a Lantern is slain, however, the ring will seek out the nearest valid candidate as a Lantern. It obviously didn't happen thousands of years ago, but in modern times we've had 3 human Lanterns. Hal Jordon, Jon Stewart, and Guy Gardner.
Don't forget Kyle Rayner, Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz. But yeah, for the upcoming Lantern series, those three you mentioned are the only human lanterns for now.

@airbrushdungeon no. I think it's better for a lot of reasons. For one thing, it doesn't feel rushed. Another thing is that the characters have more time to breathe and be better written characters. And I think this movie needs to have a darker tone. I don't like the run time, but I know why it was there.
He's done. He apparently started a bunch of drama after the Whedon cut (which he was heavily removed from), that he was specifically written out of The Flash. Functionally, he got himself fired.

Ah glad to see you've gotten this far with the DCEU. I'm generally not much of a fan of it but I did really like the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League (I hated the theatrical release. It was so bad.) The tone is so different than Marvel. Analogy (and also literally): Marvel is bright colors, DCEU is more grey and bleak. I also feel like the scale that is being sought here is much more epic to the point of more trying to be legend than just big action stories. For example,. you can even see some of that wth the unexpected, dirge-like singing when Aquaman left that village, and you can imagine how tales of him would get passed down over time to form legend and myth. Also the re-telling of the battle from the Age of Legends and how that has pretty much reached the level of myth over time. Surprised part 1 stopped where it did--seems a bit early since there is a big, big fight scene midway through the movie and so after that would seem like the logical cut off point. Were you maybe going to do 3 parts?
Part 2: Warner destroyed Snyder’s movie, vision, name and universe and attacked his own DC fans, the Snyder Cut being 4h long was the least they could do, he actually commented once he had a bunch of cuts of different time lengths one being 214 minutes /3h30m which was close to the one that was supposed to be released in 2017 until they agreed and released the whole 4h cut since everyone deserved it, the assembly cut was of 5h so there’s stuff left too, I would love to see everything 😆💔. So practically WB completely changed 85% of the movie, the stuff that was left was altered by horrible color grading and score 😭. I see people telling you to watch the 2017 cut and as always I say it is up to you guys and we will understand but I think we all fans would appreciate you skipping that disgraceful movie since it is not only a horrible movie but what it represents is just disgusting and it should have never existed & must be forgotten. 😞 Loved your reaction, Can’t wait for part 2 🩵

This movie is Epic, most certainly the best comic books (history) adaptation of the DC world ever created in the history of cinema. It requires patience & understanding of each & every character (their back stories & motivations). The cast is one of the best ever, the music, the story line; the very best for comic book kids who have been faithfully following the characters for decades. Thank you Deborah & Zack Snyder for their dedication to complete this past their personal family grief & loss, to share their love of making art in cinema.
I had an absolutely bonkers movie marathon the day this got released on MAX. I watched Godzilla King of Monsters, followed by Godzilla Vs Kong, then came home and watched this whole thing in one sitting.

I love how this movie fills in the plotholes left by Joss Whedon's bastardized Justice League vision by incorporating individual motivation and reasoning for the members coming together to form the League. Also, the black suit looks so awesome with intentional function. Since the color black absorbs heat the best, Superman chose to wear it before taking flight to absorb sunlight in order to supercharge his Kryptonian cells.
It does still have the fairly big plothole that they don’t remember earth. Which yes Zack said Darkseid was too injured for and everyone else died. But, how do they not know that this is the world if they immediately recognize humans, amazons and Atlanteans? And the mother boxes that are there? It makes perfect sense. It was dormant for thousands of years, not waiting. It was lost to Darkseid and it pretty much knew it. Then when Steppenwolf inadvertently found the correct universe again, the Mother Box felt it and "awoke." When it quieted down again, it was literally waiting for him to send the signal so it could Boom Tube him in. So the Queen was correct in both statements. It slept until it awoke and then it waited. Mother Boxes are semi-sentient.

Addie, one thing for you to understand is: In superhero stories, there is always a certain chance that a certain hero or person can come back to life. Especially if it's an important person such as Superman or Wolverine. Basically, what I'm trying to say is: Being dead does not always mean they are gone forever.

I completely adored what Snyder has created. It was levels above. The storyline elements that were adopted from the comics were clever and heart-wrenching. Shoutout to the fans that helped get this cut released. If WB execs weren't so consumed with competing with Disney, we could've gotten the entire DCEU story told correctly.
This version for my was painful to watch.
he took too long to get where he was going. he stretched single character arcs across multiple movies. you can tie in character arcs between movies but when you make a single arc span multiple movies you lose the audience and the first movies leave general audiences unsatisfied. he tried to do ahalf dozen movie long arc to get superman to be the character we know. it was too long and having him snap zod's neck in front of kids was frankly so out of character it made it hard to see the possibility of him becoming the superman we know. i think it would have provided some great moments if instead of snapping it the family was killed before zod passed out and zod was captured. dealing with the aftermath of the consequences of that choice could have lead to some interesting ideas and a similar situation in the 2nd movie he could choose to kill to save people and deal with the consequences of that and had the 3rd be him realizing which one the world needs from him. how to inspire and lead by example and what is better. but having him do that in the first movie, and the disregard for the overall damage they are doing. no indication of trying to move zod out of the city at any point. superman was not there in that fight.

Part 1: It was so heartbreaking and comforting at the same time when we found the actress of the single mom character and the eviction scene asking on twitter the day ZSJL came out if her scene made it to the SnyderCut 😭 since they cut it out from the Joss whedon Cut, one of the most touching scenes and they deleted, they actually cut some characters from that Frankenstein, they cut her out, cyborg’s mom, cyborg storyline, the General, Ryan Choi… kind of weird right? Remember those racism accusations? Well This doesn’t look good for them.
Oh we really went through hell for almost 4 years to bring the original cut to the public eye but all this justice made it completely worth it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that, way before the theatrical release, the original idea for Justice League was to release a mini series of 6 episodes (about 40 mins each). Then WB changed its mind and went for a 2 parts fully fledged movies and then changed again to a single movie of about 2 hours, cutting out a metric ton of scenes from the original idea. Then, during the shooting, the worst happened to the Snyder family and the rest is history.
As far as I remember No, JL was always supposed to be 2 movies, the idea of it being a mini series was for the Snyder cut for being 4h long, even an intro was created but at the end Warner said no so they released it as a 4h movie.

Justice League 2 was suppose to come out 2019 and it was about the team facing each of their villains from their solo movies and end with Darkseid killing Lois and Superman being mind control, Justice league 3 was going to be about the nightmare scene Batman saw where Darkseid has took over earth and flash runs back in time to change everything with Batman dying at the end

One of the BIG changes for the Snyder cut was the attack at the beginning that Wonder Woman foiled. The introduction was CONSIDERABLY extended.
That alien dude in green is a Green Lantern, sort of an Interstellar Police Force, with a single Lantern covering an entire sector of space, but able to call in others if needed. When a Lantern is slain, however, the ring will seek out the nearest valid candidate as a Lantern. It obviously didn't happen thousands of years ago, but in modern times we've had 3 human Lanterns. Hal Jordon, Jon Stewart, and Guy Gardner.

@airbrushdungeon no. I think it's better for a lot of reasons. For one thing, it doesn't feel rushed. Another thing is that the characters have more time to breathe and be better written characters. And I think this movie needs to have a darker tone. I don't like the run time, but I know why it was there.

It would want to be. When you get four years and no time limit to keep it you- it better be the best movie ever made. As much as I hate the SnyderVerse, this is the one DCEU Snyder film that actually got me emotional.
Ah glad to see you've gotten this far with the DCEU. I'm generally not much of a fan of it but I did really like the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League (I hated the theatrical release. It was so bad.)
The tone is so different than Marvel. Analogy (and also literally): Marvel is bright colors, DCEU is more grey and bleak. I also feel like the scale that is being sought here is much more epic to the point of more trying to be legend than just big action stories. For example,. you can even see some of that wth the unexpected, dirge-like singing when Aquaman left that village, and you can imagine how tales of him would get passed down over time to form legend and myth. Also the re-telling of the battle from the Age of Legends and how that has pretty much reached the level of myth over time.
Surprised part 1 stopped where it did--seems a bit early since there is a big, big fight scene midway through the movie and so after that would seem like the logical cut off point. Were you maybe going to do 3 parts?
I love this movie. So glad it came to fruition. Also much better than the theatrical cut. Just sucks the BTS drama sours the taste of this movie.

Part 2: Warner destroyed Snyder’s movie, vision, name and universe and attacked his own DC fans, the Snyder Cut being 4h long was the least they could do, he actually commented once he had a bunch of cuts of different time lengths one being 214 minutes /3h30m which was close to the one that was supposed to be released in 2017 until they agreed and released the whole 4h cut since everyone deserved it, the assembly cut was of 5h so there’s stuff left too, I would love to see everything 😆💔. So practically WB completely changed 85% of the movie, the stuff that was left was altered by horrible color grading and score 😭. I see people telling you to watch the 2017 cut and as always I say it is up to you guys and we will understand but I think we all fans would appreciate you skipping that disgraceful movie since it is not only a horrible movie but what it represents is just disgusting and it should have never existed & must be forgotten. 😞

This movie is Epic, most certainly the best comic books (history) adaptation of the DC world ever created in the history of cinema. It requires patience & understanding of each & every character (their back stories & motivations). The cast is one of the best ever, the music, the story line; the very best for comic book kids who have been faithfully following the characters for decades. I love how this movie fills in the plotholes left by Joss Whedon's bastardized Justice League vision by incorporating individual motivation and reasoning for the members coming together to form the League. Also, the black suit looks so awesome with intentional function. Since the color black absorbs heat the best, Superman chose to wear it before taking flight to absorb sunlight in order to supercharge his Kryptonian cells.
It does still have the fairly big plothole that they don’t remember earth. Which yes Zack said Darkseid was too injured for and everyone else died. But, how do they not know that this is the world if they immediately recognize humans, amazons and Atlanteans? And the mother boxes that are there?

Snyder's JL is the best superhero movie, imo. It's a masterwork in what a fully realized vision for comic book movies could have been.

In my opinion, it's 1.5-2 hours too long and just a movie that tries too hard. Both cuts are bad for different reasons.

It makes perfect sense. It was dormant for thousands of years, not waiting. It was lost to Darkseid and it pretty much knew it. Then when Steppenwolf inadvertently found the correct universe again, the Mother Box felt it and "awoke." When it quieted down again, it was literally waiting for him to send the signal so it could Boom Tube him in. So the Queen was correct in both statements. It slept until it awoke and then it waited. Mother Boxes are semi-sentient.
My favorite of Snyder's DCEU trilogy. Though I think it could have been a little shorter.

Addie, one thing for you to understand is: In superhero stories, there is always a certain chance that a certain hero or person can come back to life. Especially if it's an important person such as Superman or Wolverine. Basically, what I'm trying to say is: Being dead does not always mean they are gone forever.
