Are you planning a follow up? That would be interesting to see if tweaking things based off these blood tests improves how you look, feel, and perform. Very interesting.

Your body makes Cholesterol for a reason. Every cell requires it. Your body is an amazing “machine “. Did you know that there are people that are hyper-responders which means that there numbers are higher than everyone else. Plus did you know that the cholesterol number levels have been lowered to be able to put people on medication. Insane. Every person is different and to follow another “chart” to decide that no matter what you need more pills.

A show talking about PCOS would be great. My 31 year old daughter has pcos and doesn’t like vegetables or red meat. Bread is her favorite. A show on food aversions is another idea. Also carnivore or keto pregnancy and nursing and feeding Babies would be great. I enjoy your shows. Thank you

8:57 Why we do the labs and why the ranges my lab or my regular doctor goes off of is not usually accurate or helpful. We need to look at the labs with the lens of optimal for your health with a metabolic health expert that can explain it to you. Great video and discussion

Great video. Yes, med school was / still is wrong. Check everything and check often. What is the price of a human life? Whatever that number is X by 10 and that is the cost of a lifetime of maintenance. Changing the oil on a BMW cost more than changing the oil on a Ford. Now if you want to be a high-performance machine like a McLaren, costs go up.

Geez sounds like I need a new OB. My blood pressure is a little high and they just told me to stop coffee and take aspirin. My magnesium is low and they have never mentioned that I should take a supplement

Hi, 57 yo female. 2 grown children. 6 months after my first child was born (24 yrs ago) i was diagnosed hypothyroid. My pcp put me on Levo. I had been in it every since, but just switched to NDT as I've been very tired, brain fog, and gaining weight. Even though I've been keto/meat based for over 8 years. Question. Were you ever on thyroid meds (ah, yes you were)? I've been reading that it's possible to ween off thyroid meds. Is that possible? My pcp says my TSH is at level, but I had full thyroid labs run (even though pcp didn't think it necessary) and I noticed my RT3 was high (29.5). Since switching it lowered to 11.3. Just wondering if thyroid meds are a life thing. PCP doesn't seem interested in researching. Just don't want to feel this way going into my 60s. WHERE AND HOW DO WE FIND DOCS THAT WILL HELP INTERPRET LABS, without charging an arm and a leg?

I was just watching this, but couldn’t catch the name of group or company that the person you were talking with was from. It was said they had similar labs available that Dr. Jamie had taken. There is posted in the show notes. A name, link, site, something would great.

Hi, I have searched and searched and cannot find anything in relation to my issue. I am 59 yr old, postmenopausal, hypothyroidism and on anastrozole for breast cancer treatment which blocks my estrogen. So this is a hormonal storm. I have been doing mostly carnivore for about 7 weeks now. I have not lost any weight but I do feel better mentally and have less inflammation. I am at a loss to what I should be doing. Can you point me in the right direction? HELP!

High lipids are fine - healthy- on keto/carnivore. They're only an issue if you keep your insulin elevated with carbohydrates and sugars.

I wish we could talk to each other. You are so lost in how you approach metabolism and preventive medicine. Sorry to be so blunt. What a shame! On the surface, you show so much promise and have spent a lot of energy improving your life and helping others - mostly misguided information in my opinion. Again, sorry to say this.
