So cool how you’re now creating a widebody kit for the car that started it all for you. Big moves
usually higher compression is actually going to make it harder for you when going to boost. the engine won't be able to handle a lot of boost. you'd need to lower the compression first.
Exactly. You don’t want high compression in a boosted engine... that’s how motors go *BANG*
@@shanec8224 plenty of high compression turbo builds tho, even my stock motor G37 made 440 whp on 93 pump gas
@@Slow.S55 sure... some motors can handle more boost than others depending on wall thickness etc... but when building a purpose built turbo motor, you always go with less compression...
Whatever the first install is on the BRZ. Do it in Calvin’s Garage
It having a few Camry/Corolla elements is nice because the original 86 was a Corolla. I like to think of the 1st gen as a “Trueno” and the current gen as a “Levin”
Imo, the GR86 front end looks a lot more aggressive and clean (yes both) than the BRZ

It’s crazy how long I’ve been watching you, didn’t even realize it’s been 2 years since the r8 rebuild. I’ve watched since the Invidia n1 install on Miley and it inspired me to get a Brz. Just checked and it’s been 7 years. INSANE!
Love the BRZ/GR86, I like the Toyota GR86 styling better though.

the "flare" in the rear isn't for aero, it's for the rocks that's going to fly or dirt it's only to protect the side of the bumper

I know the kit is gonna be fire, im looking forward to see it. I personally like the GR86 better, the front bumper is much more aggressive

ZD8 BRZ is a gorgeous vehicle and I couldn't figure out why you were hating on it so hard but then it finally clicked: gotta dog the stock looks to mentally pave the way for the audience to crave the Street Hunter kit. Clever!
This version looks a lot better imo. The older design was starting to feel outdated for me.
Nope the older RX8 is more better but i guese they look the same.
I'm not a fan of the new version. All subjective of course, but I much prefer the older look.

The front end looks okay, but the headlights work way better with the GR86 than the BRZ
