BOWMAN GRAY - PHOTO FINISH - LAST LAP PASS - CHASE ROBERTSON WINS SPORTSMAN SEASON OPENER

It's been called the closest finish in Bowman Gray Stadium History and it was certainly an instant classic. Chase Robertson used the bump and run on Tommy Neal to get to Neal's inside off of turn 4 on the final lap of the 40-lap Sportsman race, the season opener for the 2024 season. When I call it a bump and run - I mean Robertson gave Neal the very slightest of a subtle rub, causing Neal to wash to the outside lane and Robetson pulled along side and the 2 cars finished side by side with Robertson edging Neal for the win by inches.
