Hello guys, this new update came with very little changes, but one of them was a Netch Buff, helping both damage and sustain of every warden spec 🐼
The implementation of 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥 is also very good for Warden, who was lacking of a good body set to use, allowing us to cut Velothi.
△ I was myself on a Dark Elf as I didn't want to pay 3000 crowns to race change my magden, but be aware that Highelf stamina sustain due to their restore passive is extremely valuable if you plan on using Executioner or the Bird in content, or in long fights where dodging will be required, so I really recommend to be 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗳 if possible.
⛧ Note that you don't have enough barspace on a 2H build to fit Ele sus, but the skill is still as powerful as previous patches, actually even stronger now that Zaan isn't a thing anymore.
Therefore, if you feel like struggling with stamina sustain, feel free to cut Executioner, Carve or Bird for Ele sus.
➤ If you are in a long fight, don't use Executioner, it's tough to sustain.
➤ If you are in a short/bursty fight, keep Executioner but remove Carve.
If you need healing you can recast Wind (In solo, you can use Pale Order as mythic).
△ Maelstrom 2H is enhancing your damage by a lot w/ status having a direct damage component, which makes it mandatory to play warden now if you are seeking for optimal damage.
If you wish to use Staff/Staff, you should definitely slot Maelstrom Ice Staff, you can use this build : imgur.com/a/skpSSvp
Here an exemple of rotation & parse by Actorion : • ESO - Magicka Warden |...
Relequen is performing very well but it's far from being the only good one. You can use Ansuul for Aoe/Pen stat, Siroria/Depths if you need 2 light pieces to sustain. Null Arca is a very good option for fights where you cant really build your relequen stacks.
I recommend if possible to use Heroism pots and have Camo hunter in content, it will help you a lot with sustain (Warden main weakness).

Yo Charles. I'm looking at maybe going back to Warden full-time for trials, been gaming on Arc lately. Would you revert to the Velothi/Zaan/5pc/3pc setup with double arena weapons for actual content? Doing Swash prog atm. Any chance you could help me solidify my setups a bit?

nice show, what set can replace highland in some must move trials
You can do same setup as last patch, zaan/velothi with dual arena staff, 2/3k less dps
Does the slow moving of walking forward during parses not negate the sets bonuses? Just curious
It doesnt as you dont actually move
@@CharlesESO I see. So it's based off of distance travelled and not actual movement of ur character? Thank u.
@@mrkshway Not quite, it's that your movement is immediately stopped by the obstacles so it never meets the 1s condition
but without this moving stampede is so pain in the ass to weave

Could you or anyone else help me how to tweak the build beeing viable to do all harder solo content - besides ring of the pale order. Maybe stuff like best non trial gear to combine without having access to Arena Weapons yet and then switch them in later.

You said it but I wanna insist on it, Pale Order is really important.
You want to make sure you have enough Pen and crit damage, so you can add additional animal companion skills frontbar and some light piece.
You can use Order's wrath/Tarnished Nightmare until you get your trial gear.
If you are gonna be pure solo you should stick with 2h backbar, sustain is close to impossible with 2x ice staves.
If you really prefer double ice, what I used to do was to use 2x staves and spam Blood for blood but it will never translate in group content so be aware of that.
Just use a random staff backbar and start doing arenas asap, it should be your priority as its the easiest thing to get.
If you are looking for quality of life more than pure damage, get False God Devotion, it's what I was wearing when I was doing solo pledges on magden.
Thanks for taking the time, I will try it out and start focusing on getting the arena weapon as fast as possible

Ah the cheat set, because you don't have to worry about mechanics. Something that won't be used in content but 100% usable on test dummy's
