Louise, I am thinking like you are, that these coasters came out fantastic, and the way the cells stood out and the colors blended, bringing the colors to just plainly "show off"!! I might venture to say, this is the most brilliant coaster set I think you've made 😉 Each one has it's own signature, with cells that are so spontaneous throughout, they make quite an impression!! Love these very much 🤗❤ Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful time with your new "Granddaughter" and bring back so many more good memories, to carry always 🤗☺❣
Thank you once again, Jude, yes these were such a surprise and so dynamic and once they’ve been resin, oh my gosh, they are stunners. I have to do more with brighter colors, I have fluorescent paint so I’ve never even tried yet. Maybe I have that to do next at some point. And yes, we’ve been Enjoying little Zelda, even though today she was a little bit of a crybaby for over an hour, but that’s all part of growing up. Even with the crying she still is quite sweet.
Beautiful colors! You are so right about the grey and black with the pinks - they really make them pop. I think grandma’s intuition made you pick pink. In my mind this palette will henceforth be called the “Zelda Palette.” 🎉
Wow Ozwald, I usually count on you as the anchor not lead off! Thanks so much and I’m glad your wife enjoyed as well. Only hope my lazy Susans will flatten out!🩷💞
Very beautiful! 😍 FYI, Few weeks ago I made coasters with wood pieces because I had not yet received my ceramics I had ordered. The next morning they were warped despite the fact that these wood pieces were half inch thick… I told myself that I had nothing left to loose but to try something so I waited 24 hours, cut parchment paper in square pieces and cover my coasters with them. Then I took the heaviest and biggest pan I had, put it on top of the coasters and let it there for another 24 hours. They all came back to their original form! Waited for another week and resined them. They were all perfect and remain ok as of today. This was quite a big surprise!
Thank you, Genny, 😘yes I’m still hoping the same thing will happen, it’s been over a month now and I have weights on one, I’m out of town so I won’t be back till next week to see if it has flattened out at all. I’m hoping that overtime it will take care of it. Thank you for giving me some hope and good luck to yours.🩵
Thank you, Tina, I was very worried about resining my first time. One thing I wish I had the first time were tents to cover the pieces with. But resin is very forgiving so even if you make a mistake, you can always redo. I do have some videos on it. I have actual resin video for coasters and a before and after resin plus I do have complete tutorials that include the resin part of whatever it is I’m making if you wanna take a look for them
Yea, I don't think i have ever seen you use bright pink. Sorry about the warp LS. You breaking the law? Never😅. You know, that pallet is growing on me. I like it. I like it alot.❤❤❤❤❤
I just found your channel. I’m clueless what I’m doing but just want a hobbie. I found your channel and you explain everything so well. I hope I can try this soon. Not sure it will turn out like this lol
Hi Cyber Girl😘 and Welcome! Well, it fun as a hobby or more! I hope you enjoy, and be sure to check out my playlist as you’ll say all kinds of creations based on category. I have about 98 coasters tutorials and coasters are really good place to start. Just a word of warning, this is a more complicated technique, but once you get it down, it’s really a lot of fun!
Hi Edith, 💞I actually have a video about three minutes that shows how I have my coaster set up. They don’t hold on anything they just sit. ruclips.net/video/5njiBXOop6U/видео.htmlsi=p2uyufqyvpBqn6mo
Love this palette. I want to comment regarding warped lazy Susan. I’m no expert or know it all. Just a thought. Have you taken the top off (if you can) and let it dry it completely flat for several days. Up to a week. I’ve had warped things and with wood products, I’ve found this to be the key. Hope I didn’t overstep.
Thank you, Susan, I have not taken the tops off of these per se, but I can, I’m just biting my time right now while I’m away. And believe me, we are all learning, there is no overstepping with me just good thoughts and suggestions and intentions to help.!
That is $1 million question, I do not know. I have applied varnish and also primer to provide a barrier. Maybe something in my environment lately, it may be that they were creating them differently at the factory, I honestly don’t know. Some people are still creating them without any problem, so I’m still trying to figure out what the problem is. Thank you for being here and yeah, that pink is pretty sweet isn’t it?🩷🩷🩷
I love this palette. Do you have a preference on order of colors? For instance, on this palette you started with a bright color then pale and dark etc. Is there ant go to pattern of colors or does it not matter and just trialing to see what works? Congratulations on the new grand baby!!!
Thank you Shelly and I do have my preference of color order but I’ll leave you to determine yours. Understanding how the paint works when you’re creating helps and nobody flat out told me what I’m gonna tell you here. Know that your first color down usually ends up in or near the middle in the last color down, ends up streaming through or on this ends and go from there. The way I do it is opposite of what most people do.
@ thank you so much, I do appreciate your insight. I did purchase my first colors today but we are in the middle of a mini remodel so it will be a couple of weeks before I will get a chance to start. In the meantime time I am collecting knowledge and supplies 🤣

Do you know why your lazy Susan’s are warping? I’ve bought some and now I’m worried. Loved the pink. Great for spring.
