The oracle hero sky passage change is very cool. I always thought they were underutilised but this could create a whole new meta for Oranos. And might also make people realise building stacks of Oracles is not useless like it was in legacy
I don't think it's fair to have the pro players practice under certain rules and prepare for a tournament and then right before the tournament go "GOTCHA!" and change everything. If anything, they should have the tournament under the previous patch and apply this to the live server only.
I wouldn't say they are changing everything with this one, but more bringing an emergency bandaid to the fact almost no one practiced with Atlanteans at all despite the fact the rules would make it very likely for them to have to be picked. So at least now they aren't going to be both the weakest pantheon by far and the least explored.
These are some really good changes. I guess redbull is going to test these out before rolling them out to the public, which is a weird order of events, but I'm looking forward to this hitting public
Really good changes! Always liked the approach of buffing underwhelming stuff, rather then nerfing viable stuff! Makes for a much more exciting viewing experince! Especially when it comes to mythic age stuff nerfs, I like those upgrades, units and god powers to feel incredible We will see how things play out! Especially excited for the Oranos changes! That oracle building SP is exactly what the god needed to feel right!

Yeah, first one patch 1 day before a tournament then another just for the participants without any real "testing" of the previous patch, let alone the new one. I dont mind the patches or the changes, some are good, some will be bad and will eventually be reworked in the next patch. But 1 day or 3 hours before a tournament is not the time to do a patch update. It just disrespectful to the tourney players.

That Turma Hero damage to myth units could be huge, much easier to stave off fights and harass myth units which's a good step in the right direction imo. Also lmao I can see some Nature's Prophet style shenanigans with Oranos Oracles too, just sky passage behind enemy lines.

They did feel a bit underpowered in that some options were just objectively better than others. For example, there is no reason to go with Theia when you got the option to go Hyperion or Rhea as their techs just offer more benefits. Post-buffs (assuming this goes public) would make Theia a viable option for general play.
Not a fan of the atlantean buffs. They were weak but now they sound absolutely broken. Also oranos shenigens are going to be rage inducing for everyone to deal with.

Atty hero boost is straight up bonkers, that's the one atty weakness gone. Plus all the other shit boosted, clearly biased. And zero norse balance 11 Yeah right thor is in a perfectly balanced place right now being completely useless.

Too little too late, and it doesn't even surpasses other god's bonuses, it's just incredibly late and underwhelming. If you think Thor is fine, you're either playing legacy and haven't heard about retold, or you understand nothing of the game.

Why don't they just remove greek from the game and be done with it? Still no Odin adjustments, elephant printing still in the game, very not-biased devs. Pity, I thought this game has potential but it's dead in the water from the poor balance decisions.

We’ve had AoE2 tournaments where they’ve played on previous patches because the new one broke everything.

Nah. They're still plenty impactful; the entire balance was shifted in that direction, so adjustments we're seeing aren't going to change that.
Some myth units were nerfed, other myth units were buffed. That doesn't look like a U turn to me.
