Narrated observer POV is a nice format. Some casters keep the keyboard sounds and forever moving camera. Going from sheep to pharoah to gold miners to worker trained to Unit qued, No resources to pay so the player hits the same key 10 times😂. This is way less audio/ visual chaos.
It is competitive! This game is from a $20k tournament. Lots of power spikes to play around, but imo makes it much more fun to watch than other aoe titles
i would say semi competitive. we shall see how retold does . But idoubt it would become as competitive as some RTS like SC2 . To me AOM was made more to be fun and whacky in ladder games and less so a competitive game.
@user-e7xn4q is there any RTS where you can select mutiple groups at the same time? howdoes that work? But yeah unit pathing still leaves a lit to be desired ... it's unfortunately that way in most age of empires games.

I planned to, but i stomped the first round and got stomped in the 2nd! Not the most interesting of games.
@@mooseaom I believe there can be a lot of eduactional value in a loss too. Especially in an age where you can mostly only find the winner's pov.

This game was only on the red bull client, but when he’s live on the ladder you can watch it or see if fitz has any on aom.gg
Can someone detail the build order? Couldn't see all the villagers come out because the camera was moving around.
You can check the top resource bar to see where the vills went - very similar to the build I posted yesterday though but monument first with pharaoh
