I know some of you don't like cheese strategies, which I can totally understand. Unfortunately this challenge would have been completely impossible without them, so I hope you don't hold it against me! Thanks for watching.
Nice video, mate! If anyone clicked on this video expecting not to see any cheese strategies, they should reevaluate their expectations. It would only show they never had fun in skirmish against many AI's. Remember Red Alert 2 on the 8 player map with destructible bridges? Good times preparing air defense for Kirovs.
@@StalwartTirithI mean, that's sort of part of RTS, or any game in general since its most efficient way to play kinda. Yeah, there's fair play and such, but it's not cheating either - the sooner people will realise this, the easier it will be to play and have fun IMO
What I expected: Stinky artisan cheese What I got: An hour and a half of bird sounds. Ironically the biggest threat to your army of birds were a group of bird men. This video truly is the Bird of Mythology.
I love the new AOM. I've been playing since I was a kid and I always fantasized about having 33 Sons of Osiris, 15 Titans, and unlimited god powers. The battle at the end was the perfect summary of this. I don't care if some people think it's cheesy, that's what makes it fun!
This is the new remake, they improved a lot of the mechanics from the original. For example wonders now give you crazy bonuses that make you overpowered, rather than just being a win condition in the original.
@@StuGames However I don't see the progressing carcass decals left behind by dead units on the ground, the one thing that game was so memorable for; nor the landscape mesh wave deformation effect caused by heavy hits... Although, the damageable buildings and structural units' models, akin to Age of Empires 3 and Command & Conquer 4 look indeed exceptional. Touching up outdated undesired gameplay mechanics and bugs is always welcome.
You might enjoy taking a peek at the old Relic Entertainment RTS Impossible Creatures, it's full of potential of goofy strats like this. Incredible video. 10/10
Stu, another awesome video! I just got through the main campaign on hard. Doing Atlanteans right now. I love everything about them except their way of generating favor. I guess it makes up for their super human villagers.
Do you plan to make a version where it's a 1v7 against Titan difficulty? It would be closer to the video you did on AoE1 DE. (Not that the tree idea wasn't totally awesome, on top of being quite goofy)
If the circles overlap, only one of the oracle will generate favor in proportion to the amount of surface that overlaps So if the two oracles are on the same spot, You might as well only have one oracle. If the circles overlap by half, it's like You have 1.5 oracles. If they don't overlap at all, it's like You have 2!
If the enemy has rocs, shifting sands and vortex, it will be even more challenging to deal with Was wondering why didn't u attack the norse first since they were spawning wolves in your base Or making an attack on the greeks first then claim their plenty vaults if the birds can claim it
Will you do titan difficulty AoM Retold campaing? Some missions, like the tree one in egyptian is a challenge oven on moderate. Also isn't there a risk that AI will rush Freya and forest fire? Since god powers are reusable the AI should be aggressive with them no? Also also an idea: maybe to do free for all or have some teammates, AI or no (just an idea thrown to the winds)
Maybe if they add Fast game speed to the Campaign! Right now you can only play it on Normal speed, which is half of Fast and feels a little too grindy for me.
Woah you can get the old icons? Ima have to do that, I love retold but they did the weird “super detail” on stuff instead of keeping all the OG look but making the quality better if that makes sense
Is there an auto-repair option for citizens? Something that will make them automatically go around repairing any damaged buildings you have? Otherwise I don't see how you're meant to keep up with shift+right clicking every damaged structure lol
The wolf summon is a Tier 4 Godpower so it's supposed to be this annoying! The reason the AI can use it so often is that he has built a wonder, which gives you some crazy powerful bonuses because it's kind of intended to be a "game-winning play". (In the original game, building a wonder just made you win the game) Fortunately the AI's didn't all spam their Godpowers like this!
I beat 3 legendary computers on this map first try, just playing zeus and spamming hydras and centaurs. Didn't even build a titan. Gonna do some limit testing to see how many I can beat. No cheese! Very interesting stratedy bro, I always wanted to use them trees for blocking, but atlanteans just feel meh to me.
They should fix the ai. The nidhogr were simply suiciding. Titans should attack birds too. They should use burning fire to clear the forrests. Not a single roc was disappointing too.
You have to spread them out so their circles overlap as little as possible. You can also upgrade them to heroes which increases their circles so it probably also increases favor. Then in addition to that my wonder generates 1 favor per second.

U’know i’m thinking about u start playing entire campaign in Titan difficulty for making video for fun 😅
When game Cossacks?
Watching videos of ways people have found to cheese games (especially RTS games) is one of my favorite things to do.

Next Update
- Large myth units and Titans can walk through Hesperides Trees
- Titans can attack air units now
that make sense to me
Titans should be able to attack flying units since Prometheus grabbed one of the rocs during the cutscenes
In all seriousness, they need to give Titans the ability to stomp down trees, to make Forest Nothing viable.

Lots of 🐦 and occasional 🐉
I love how Retold only just came out and we already have people like you pushing this game to its limits. Amazing stuff.
The ai gathering arround your tree wall is honestly so terrifying
The Fimbulwinter activation sound is going to haunt my dreams tonight.
Cheese is good, especially on burgers.
Mythalisk
Really appreciate the editing to provide context for what you were doing, and how the cheese worked lol. Great video!
I find it funny how the devs thought it would be a good idea for titans to walk across water. but they can't pass through trees.
If you want to defend your country, do not build walls, just plant trees.
That 40 Sons of Osiris was quite a nasty episode ...
This must be what the druids in Baldur's Gate 3 had in mind when they tried to wall up their base with trees.
Bahaha yes You're right 😂😂 I can already see Minthy and the goblins walking headfirst into the trees and being confused 😂

Nobody expected the Cheese of Mythology, well play!
Being able to beat 11 legendary AI truly proves you're the god chosen one ngl.
- What can man do again such reckless hate ?
- Trees
That Osiris army can wipe a whole pantheon😅
Great tricks and ideas. You can always impress me. Keep up your good work.

How do you remember the Looks when you never played this tho o.O
@@reudigerhund8366 i used to watch people playing without actually playing the game myself, always seemed like a cheap age of empires ripoff to me
It was made by the same studio that made AoE, so hardly a ripoff. More of a spin-off.

Age of Mythology: angry birds dlc
Looks like a LOTR movie where the eagles saves the day

"agh cheese!" - scout tf2
wouldn't have thought this possible sick job
Perhaps you could have spawned a tree next to all these treasure chambers. Upon creating one dryad they should have been yours :)
Of course, the only way to defeat AI is to use human creativity

Good idea!
1:07:30 The Bird on Bird action is criminal. D:
At the end I was most impressed with the fact it didn't even take 4 hours 😂 Gosh, on normal game speed that would have been an easy 7/8+ hour game :O
@@TheNitoGaming nope it's not

Que locura, increíble gameplay 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🔥
Lmao should be titled "extra chese bugin 11 legendary ai until i can do something in a custom map"
It's not even possible to beat all 11 legendary AI tbh since they have an advantage
nice, great video make more
The titans look cool AF
Thought this was age of empires until I looked up the original game.
I've already done a 1v7 in that one!
It literally says in the title which game it is
I wasnt sure how the oracles work but they still generate favor even though their circles intersect?
I'd guess it's proportional to how much they overlap.

Take the Tonsberg Challenge! Use the Fimbulwinter God Power 29,998,559,671,349 times in a game!
nice, oldest trick in the book. I used to do this in 'zelda' as a kid on eso online
should have cheese in the title because there is no real way to kill 11 legendary, some german guy on aoe3 done it but the ai is a bit less relentless
top!
If the enemy has rocs, shifting sands and vortex, it will be even more challenging to deal with
Was wondering why didn't u attack the norse first since they were spawning wolves in your base
Or making an attack on the greeks first then claim their plenty vaults if the birds can claim it
Fkin cinematic experience! But I think going forward they should patch Titans to be able to grab and attack aerial units. Seemed way too cheap.

There's a really good reason why I hate Fimbulwinter a lot

це щось неймовірне і круте, дякую за гарне відео.
Ви змонтували на х2 швидкості?
you can select Fast speed in skirmish games
i am afraid to put ore than 6 AI not of the difficulty but fro my pc being blown up i dont know if it can handle it
Hi nice Video. how do you get so much favour with your oracles ?
You have to spread them out so their circles overlap as little as possible. You can also upgrade them to heroes which increases their circles so it probably also increases favor. Then in addition to that my wonder generates 1 favor per second.
Anything above Hard (even some civs on Hard) I swear the game cheats. The way the AI can quickly generate resources and rush you is just impossible
gg nice cheese
Question from a noob player. 1:54:54 whats with the green player that he got a spkie very fast comparing to the others one?
What if they used forest Fire
Damn.
Obviously the tools where implemented into the game, why not abuse those game mechanics for a interesting win.
