I thought about this.. and i searched and found this video. ✨️👌
There are 3 kinds of commands in the Bible. 1. A command with no promise. 2. A command with the promise of reward. 3. A command with the warning of a consequence. The command in Ephesians 5, Eggerichs is talking about, has no promise. In fact we are all commanded to love with no expectation of a reward. Many times we love and we get NOTHING, and even hate in return. There is no command in scripture that promises a good emotion in return. Why? Because, emotions are chosen from within a person. God gives us the fruit of the Spirit but we have to choose to let it flow out of us. He's saying I'm responsible for my mates emotions. Yes, I desire for her to have good emotions but it's not my responsibility to cause her to have them.
Does the children's of the topic your talking about will be affected by that kind of marriage? I love my parents but it seems I am their big problem.
Sir with all my respect can I ask something but I don't know if It's okay to ask questions in here. I'm afraid this is on line.
If a man had a history of being a womanizer or rather specifically 'narcissistic' like you say Sir.Emerson. Then my question goes like this, is that person do have a chance to change? And how? By whom? Can he do it by himself?
But men expect women to work like them and be mother's but then demand respect. We can't do both
Please read the book if you want to find an advocate. Thank you.
