    Good tutorial George, couple comments, I have been using that "select subject" function and have had fairly good success with it. I would say on a good day 70%, the refinements are usually just areas it got wrong and are easy fixes. Secondly, I have been taking a lot of sky pictures with my cell phone and now have about 50 available in case I need a sunrise or sunset or even stormy clouds. It really adds to the composition when you get a sky and the action in the picture to match. It is quite amazing how much leverage you can have to create any mood you want just by working with the sky.
    Thank you for all you do!
    Rich

      I agree Rich, the Select Subject is a great new tool, but most people haven't upgraded to PSE 2020 so I stick with the techniques that work for everyone when possible. Having a lot of sky images is the way to go because it does give you a lot of flexibility. I lost count of how many times I have used this one cloud picture in my videos.

    As usual, an excellent video. I remember a similar video you did like this one in replacing the sky background.

      Thanks again! I do at least one of these basic replace sky videos each year. It is one of my most requested video subjects. I think my favorite is this one just because I like the plane 0kADZHaZmiY

    Hello, is there a way to edit smart object on photoshop elements 2020 ? I click on the smart object thumbnail but nothing is happening!!! Photoshop elements does'nt support smart object??

    • @HTGGeorge
      @HTGGeorge  4 года назад

      Photoshop Elements doesn't edit smart objects the way Adobe Photoshop does. In Photoshop Elements they are Smart Layers. You can do anything you want on that layer as long as it won't change the pixels. So resizing is fine, repositioning, etc. But most filters and effects won't work. You will need to Simplify the layer to do that. Just right click on the layer name and choose Simplify from the popup menu
