You actually did it correctly. I've watched many videos for this product and it's like I'm just screaming at my phone. They're complaining that the rollers don't work but they're doing a backwards upside-down just ridiculousness
I just bought these rollers on amazon for $12 us. And they are as amazing as she says. They ARE so COMFORTABLE!!!!! Ive been using rag rolls and was unhappy with them. These fit my VERY long (past my waist) thick hair fantastically! No need for a second kit. AMAZING PRODUCT!

My lip gloss is actually lipsense in Bella (but spoiler alert...I wasn't crazy about how it wore) and my eye shadow is all from the Urban Decay Naked2 Basics palette with the Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder in Bella Chiffon. Haha did not intend to have like 3 things with Bella in the name. 😅
Did you put any product in your hair to help hold the curl or help with frizz?
Lana Lenzini only some hairspray, but I've found that the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie works really well!
Keep in mind that you already have natural curly hair so your results are accelerated
What do you think is the difference between these and say hot rollers. I did the co nair rollers hated it
Nicole Puccio these are definitely way more comfortable and don't make my hair as frizzy as hot rollers do sometimes. And I think the curls were just as nice. But rollers might take less time and you could probably roll them to give you more volume at the root. So it just depends on what you're looking for!
As a curly girl, seems to me if you did the CG method on your own natural wave, you'd end up with pretty much the same result with your own hair! (CGM clipping would give you more volume on top, even with this method!) Your result with this product is pretty though ... maybe a bit more volume on the end with these? (Going to see if you have a video where you have actually tried CGM on your own hair .... New subscriber! Feel a binge-watch coming on! 😀👍🏻)
Hi! My hair usually is pretty curly, but I was still going through a postpartum wavy-ish phase when I filmed this video. I actually tried CGM from February to November 2018 and it ended up just being too much for me and not working the way I wanted it to, but my hair is pretty fine and verrrrrrry long right now, so I'm planning on starting CGM back up after I do I big chop this weekend and see if that helps. I just tried this and it seemed to curl well, but my hair was very frizzy after i shook the curls a bit and it just got more and more frizzy later. I don't normally have frizzy hair. And the top of my hair was super flat. It looked really weird with really big curls on the bottom and the crown completely flat against my head. I sprayed it with hairspray but the curls fell very quickly. Weird because my hair usually hold a curl very well, i never use hair spray or anything with curling irons. I don't know why it didn't work.
imakefoodhappen I have found that using a serum helps with the frizz more than hairspray does. But after using this a few more times I have noticed the same issue you mentioned with the hair at my crown being completely flat unless I go back in and tease it...but then it gets a little crazy looking. Not sure how to fix that yet 🤔
Hey, thanks for the reply. I tried it a couple more times and got much better results. I started with wetter hair this time, and i think that helped with the frizz and the hold. And i placed the curlers higher on my head, and i also parted my hair the opposite way. So when i unrolled them in the morning and parted it to my regular side, my hair was not flat and it looked much better!
I'll have to try it like that!

Did you wash your hair or just spray it with water to dampen a little?
Jaedyn MacNeill in the video I just dampened it. I've tried it both ways though and I think just dampening it gives a better result.
