Equivalents: no matter the sensor size, the lens' aperture ratio does not change. So any change in light capture capabilities is solely on the sensor, not the lens.
The sensitivity to light doesn't change with sensor size. The depth of field does, owing largely to the increased distance to the subject and background required by M43 to achieve the same framing as FF.
@@cameraconspiracies I know what you're saying, but the actual, physical aperture *ratio*, i.e. F-value, of the lens does not change, so making that physical ratio equivalent to the sensor size is cute and perhaps approaches what you think you observe, but it isn't factual. Just sayin', don't karate chop my head off :)
The aperture ratio doesn't change, but the Toneh does. The Olympus 300mm f/4 shot wide open gathers light at f/4, but depth of field is Toneh 8. What part of that are you not getting?

Equivalents: no matter the sensor size, the lens' aperture ratio does not change. So any change in light capture capabilities is solely on the sensor, not the lens.
Tell that to the Toneh when you line up the same framing.
@@mvw5721 But we're not talking about that, we're talking about real life lol.
The aperture ratio doesn't change, but the Toneh does. The Olympus 300mm f/4 shot wide open gathers light at f/4, but depth of field is Toneh 8. What part of that are you not getting?
Binocular video for wildlife would be cool
Great time watching you
Nikon 105 was way shaper than the other lenses!
Only camera channel I watch
So you're saying that Cannon pre-cripple hammered you?
Did you keep the Batis 25mm T2? it is my favorite and most hated lens
I'm trying to sell it, but it's not garnering a lot of interest.
I think you should be proud of what you’ve created, a stable community of unstable fans watching an unstable talent. I’m sorry to inform you you don’t have a million subscribers, not half that, not 1/5 that, yet over 100k is a fantastic achievement for being as weird and not fake as you are. Your optics aren’t advertiser friendly, as you haven’t found your perfect camera yet.
What microphone is this? Great shot and composition. 😂
Lav Mic into a wireless rode or similar?
