Headgaskets on the current EJ257 doesn't blow as easy as it's previous versions. However, ringland failure isn't an if, it's WHEN.

If it has active hill assist I’d say don’t use it and change the spring but taking the assist off helps so much with engagement

well, I can't wait to see you do a pull once you've got an exhaust, a cold air intake, new wheels and tires, and whatever other mods you might end up doing to this thing!! it's already got 310 horsepower from the factory, which isn't even close to bad! a buddy of mine has a 2018 STI, and it's pretty damn quick

A 2020 subaru sti? I have an idea get the horizon 4 paint job that you made in the homemade rally car and make it an actually rally car
One thing to could do is get some Vinyl or just green tape so you can match the lettering in the mudflaps to your brake calipers and your fender badge
Nick tune it to 350 hp and put the gears closer to gever and get rally tires and Subaru rally designated a smaller fule tank so then it is a rally car

The Tomei exhaust sounds fantastic and it's not too loud and it's titanium :) And normally I'm not into car body mods but the little black emblem looks great and suttle imo

I actually got a 2017 WRX in WR Blue not too long ago and lemme tell ya, these cars are so GREAT for having such bad stereotypes. The WRX doesn't have the famed EJ257 in it, rather the FA20DIT but it still rips man. I'm in love with the STi, Nick. Congrats on the new whip!
The newer STIs have been beefed up a bit. They share the same short block as the Type RA. Factory tune is also slightly different, it's pretty aggressive for Subaru. Those rain guards were awesome, should have never taken them off. Also instead of changing the Cobb shifter, just try adjusting it. It has height adjustment built in. I have a 2021 STI and it really is awesome. For reliability look into an IAG or Crawford Air/Oil separater and the GetaDom Cylinder 4 cooling mod. If you really have the coin, look into a Killer B oil pan kit. Comes with a beefier oil pick up, windage tray and extra capacity oil pan.
