Today we explored Yangshuo in China by bike (bicycle)! This area is MUST SEE if you come to China, the natural scenery is just incredible!!
We visited Moon Hill which offers beautiful views over the karst mountains, as well as the giant banyan tree (which wasn't quite as impressive!)
We finished the day by cycling along the Yulong river which was so serene. We highly recommend doing this in Yangshuo!

We always love getting out on a bike. 🚴♂️ And this is such a fun, healthy and cheap way to get to see places! 😄👍 Have any of you got tips on fun places to sight-see by bike❔
I also love riding bike.
@@untamedartist4948 such a nice way to get around 😀
Bikung around the Pearl River in Guangzhou will be meganificent.
Cycling around
Wow, all those hills are just gorgeous. It's really a completely different scenery from others.
Just breathtaking
Amazing scenery!!! Great to see even in the weather! You guys find some incredible places!
Thanks so much! We try to get out as much as we can. Normally we are lucky with the weather though! 🌞 Thanks for watching. 😄
i did it on spring and flowers were blooming everywhere 😍😍😍
I need to visit Yangshuo again. I had great time there. Visit Xingping, its not too crowded. The picture is on the back of 20 yuan note.
Look out for the next video! ;)
Gosh. U ll need a holiday after this!
It was amazing! So relaxing! 😀
The scenery is breathtaking. I would also love to ride a bicycle there ; )
We reccomend it!
Nice video Bro
景色太美了...另外户外骑行要注意防晒噢:)
Greetings from Britain, wish you a pleasant journey ahead.
That noise are from "蝉” or "知了” (Cicadidae).
Thanks for the greetings. 😀
They are so so loud. 😮
Nice video!
Thanks 😃
looks good
Spring in China is comfortable from March to April and autumn from October to November. About 20 degrees.
I watched all your videos on China and this is the only place in your video I’ve never been to.
thats cool! You should definitely go! It is amazing there :)
The noisy sound of that bug is cicada.
They stay underground for 13-17 yrs & only coming out for few weeks. Whey they do, They are announcing loudly "I'm here" for the mating season. They nymph cicadas will die soon after laying eggs.

In mountainous area, it rains on a daily basis, which is true not just in China but everywhere on earth. You do not need to give up any of your plans. Just be prepared with your umbrella, raincoat, proper clothing and off you go.
Last month visited there 🤗
Did you love it?
Have to admit, attracted by Jenny's smiling. You are a lucky man Rob. LOL
I am. A very lucky man! 😀 She's always smiling.
Hope you guys won’t get lost. China is a very beautiful country. It has both modern and historical places in every province. I hope I could go and visit soon.☺️
Enjoy your stay😄
You really should go! It is such a nice country, with so much on offer! 😀
cicadas. very common summer insects in China. they are quite big. you can spot them on trees. they are harmless.
👍👍
just found ur channel last week. I was still trying to make time for all of them, now I am starting with the China part. is it ok for me to translate and post some of ur videos in Chinese social medias? U two r quite real as a subjective traveler, I like it.
👍👍
👍
My home town.
Lovely!
what's the name of the background music start from 1:40?
Yangshuo is the most stylish place I have found in China.... eventhough the area has not developed quite well, but the natural look is still quite amazing
Climate of Yangshuo Guilin
Yangshuo‘s climate is subtropical and monsoon-influenced. The coldest time is January with an average temperature of about 9°C (48°F) while the warmest months are July and August with an average temperature of about 28°C (82°F).
Best time to visit Yangshuo or Guilin weather wise
Best time to visit Yangshuo & Guilin are the periods of late March to May and late September throughout November when the weather is relatively mild and days are generally sunny with temperatures varying between 20-30°C (68-86°F).
May and June often compete to be the wettest month although it varies each year.July and August are often hot and humid with temperatures of 28-35°C (68-86°F).
Winters in Yangshuo & Guilin are mild and short with temperatures rarely dropping to freezing point. Weather in November and even December will be chilly in the evenings and on cloudy days but is often wonderful with plenty of sun and blue skies.
January and February are generally the least best times for a visit when weather is grey and gloomy, cold and rainy, and visitors in Yangshuo are very few.
Thanks for the useful information. Glad to have you here ☺️
wow...this is what i had done 3 years ago in Yangshuo, and i did it alone 😁😁😁
Nice one!! Well worth doing. 😀😀
@@RobandJenny you guys should do it on spring when flowers bloomed everywhere 😄😄😄
Hah I looked it up in my dictionary and found the noise making “bug” is actually called cicada. “蝉” in Chinese. They are all around the country I think. Only make sounds during the summertime. So in our culture 蝉 represents Summer.
Aw that's so nice. So when you think of summer you also think of cicadas? Or the other way around too 😀👍
Rob & Jenny haha, good question, and they are correct in both ways i think. The Cicada image appears on every pupil’s textbook when it comes to “Seasons” chapter. :P
Beautiful place. BTW what did you find difficult so far in China? Communication, foods, expensive, ect?
It is one of the most beautiful places we've seen so far. Actually most people are very happy to use a translate app and lots of signs are in English so it's not so hard! Food is cheap, the only expensive part is travelling between places because it's such a huge country!
@@RobandJenny距离远的路程, 乘旧式火车硬卧,可以省些费用,又可以车上过夜或看沿途风景
I hope you can come to Jiuzhaigou, Qingcheng Mountain and Emei Mountain in Sichuan Province to have a look. The people of Sichuan welcome you!
Thank you so much! 🥰 Videos in Sichuan will be coming soon!! 😄
@@RobandJenny Jiuzhaigou was damaged during an earthquake in 2017. It's recovered but still not open yet. You can visit Huanglong instead.
@@RobandJenny Jiuzhaigou is like the "Switzerland of China". Huanglong and Siguniang Mountain are very close to Jiuzhaigou. If Jiuzhaigou is still not open to tourists, then it is worthy to visit Huanglong and Siguniang Mountain instead.
@@chloeagnew1 great tip. It's hard to get solid information on this online. 😀
Rob & Jenny The best scenery in China is in Sichuang and Xinjiang, hope you can see it
I think it's very hot there, but you didn't sweat!
😂 it was very hot. And unfortunately we did sweat, A LOT! Worth it though. 😀👍

When do you come to Shanghai? It's the largest city of china. You may choose here to leave ,when you will leave from china.because there are an international airport in shanghai
Yes we do! One of our favourite places in China
GO TO HAINAN
Not busy?? Try Chinese official holidays like National day or Spring festival then you will see what "People sea people mountain" means, that is a LOT of people 😏😁
Haha I hear it's crazy then!
It is not recommended to travel in China on traditional holidays, there will be a lot of people. And the price will double the price. Food and accommodation.
bugs are called 蝉
Thanks! Rob's been trying to learn Mandarin, but this may be out of his skill level to remember just yet. 😂😂
@@RobandJenny I am curious if there's no such bugs in your country?they are the symbol of Summer in East Asia at least, movies and animates usually use their buzzing voice as the background in summer scenes
@@5YAAA we have crickets. But they are much quieter and only heard sometimes in the countryside.
@@RobandJenny we have crickets too. the 蝉we talked about actually live underground for 13 years before crawling out from dirt, so the bugs you heard singing today were there waiting for you for 13 years to hear them sing their annoying song😄
Cool video! Which gears are you using to make videos like this? By the way, if you like traveling blogs, check out my newly made channel, I will appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
