Today we explored Yangshuo in China by bike (bicycle)! This area is MUST SEE if you come to China, the natural scenery is just incredible!!
We visited Moon Hill which offers beautiful views over the karst mountains, as well as the giant banyan tree (which wasn't quite as impressive!)
We finished the day by cycling along the Yulong river which was so serene. We highly recommend doing this in Yangshuo!

The noisy sound of that bug is cicada.
They stay underground for 13-17 yrs & only coming out for few weeks. Whey they do, They are announcing loudly "I'm here" for the mating season. They nymph cicadas will die soon after laying eggs.

    Climate of Yangshuo Guilin
Yangshuo‘s climate is subtropical and monsoon-influenced. The coldest time is January with an average temperature of about 9°C (48°F) while the warmest months are July and August with an average temperature of about 28°C (82°F).
Best time to visit Yangshuo or Guilin weather wise
Best time to visit Yangshuo & Guilin are the periods of late March to May and late September throughout November when the weather is relatively mild and days are generally sunny with temperatures varying between 20-30°C (68-86°F).
May and June often compete to be the wettest month although it varies each year.July and August are often hot and humid with temperatures of 28-35°C (68-86°F).
Winters in Yangshuo & Guilin are mild and short with temperatures rarely dropping to freezing point. Weather in November and even December will be chilly in the evenings and on cloudy days but is often wonderful with plenty of sun and blue skies.
January and February are generally the least best times for a visit when weather is grey and gloomy, cold and rainy, and visitors in Yangshuo are very few.

Hah I looked it up in my dictionary and found the noise making “bug” is actually called cicada. “蝉” in Chinese. They are all around the country I think. Only make sounds during the summertime. So in our culture 蝉 represents Summer.
